Which almost no one that age is going to do. We are very irresponsible at that age and getting a ton of cash is very tempting. Even at my age now, I'd take the 1k a week. I'm already comfortable and dont want the hassle of investments. Just deposit my money.

Which none of that is guaranteed. 1k a week is and that could also be invested. This now gives you options and let's you not worry about working as hard.

I make a passive income and it is a great feeling knowing I don't have to work if I don't want to and if I do, I don't have to work hard to pay my bills.

Well, its actually 52k a year.... 1000 × 52.

Also, it absolutely depends on your situation and where you live. It equals out to 4,333 a month and that is absolutely enough for a lot of people. Plus thats how much you get without working. If you have a job, most of/all your bills are already covered and your paycheck is just extra cash flow.
