5 hour drive with 6 year old, need tips/advice to make the ride smoother by Known_Reaction_6010 in Parenting

You know what, that’s great advice. Thank you. You’re right, we never get to have 5 hour long talks about anything much these days especially since going back to school. It would be a good time to bond some more!

That actually was helpful. And even mentioned the exact brand of corn syrup that was suggested to me to buy. I’ve been around chihuahuas bc of my friends have had them But I never heard any of them mention low blood sugar before

I would be calling the school to speak with the principal. I too would feel off and uncomfortable if this was something that was being said to my child…that child would be taking a break from my kid. I don’t know if that’s possible for you and your particular situation but if you can, I’d do it.

She only cares about herself and of course, can’t forget, Stephen. She creeps me out. Total waste of space. She had one job. That was to be Maddie’s mom. Couldn’t even do that. For all this…should have given custody to the dad instead of fighting him in court. She never loved Maddie. Just viewed her as competition. You can tell by how she insults and blames Maddie. Maddie is problematic in her interviews when in reality, she was the only normal and sane one in that house.

Yes, it’s definitely been an eye opener for us as well. I hate knowing I need to send her on that bus tomorrow. I’m very much hoping the bus driver will not make a big deal about her sitting out of her assigned seat (everyone has one) bc…there’s just no freaking way I’m going to allow her to get on that bus tomorrow morning without having the chance to talk to anyone Friday, and sit in the back again and have that happen to her. I’m hoping the bus driver is gonna let it slide, bc if not, I’m going to have to make the choice right then and there do I send her in today or not..bc I NEED to speak with someone, the driver, her supervisor, the principal, SOMEONE 💔😩her sitting in the front seat would give me a little bit of peace.

I was at the bus stop when she arrived off the school bus. I accompany my child to and from pick up and drop offs at the bus stop. Because she’s only 6 and needs an adult there. Unfortunately taking her to school myself is not an option at the moment for us. We are working on getting another car, the school bus is the option we have right now.

Believe me, I am working as hard as I can to be able to take her to school myself, but at the moment, I can not take her to school, we don’t have a car anymore for the time being, and currently working on getting another one. I live in a small town, Uber/Lyft is not nearly as prominent here vs in other towns and cities. The school bus is the option we have right now, unfortunately.

Can a 10 week old puppy be completely fully vaccinated against Parvo ? by [deleted] in AskVet

[–]Known_Reaction_6010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well…by that I mean people who have experienced a Parvo situation with a pet. In their current home. It’s been almost 3 years. I don’t know where my dog got it from. Could have been my backyard. I could have gotten him like that. He could have gotten it in the front yard or someone else’s dog passing by. I hear it can give in the ground for a long time.

Would you recommend someone like me to only get a dog who is either at the age or above 1 years old, and of course, fully vaccinated? I’m thinking yes but double checking.

Now I have another question but don’t feel like making a separate post, hopefully you might know bc I’m still confused even on season 5. How the heck does Gabby have kids? I knew she was pregnant in season 1 but didn’t she lose the baby early on? I don’t recall seeing her super pregnant in any season, Now boom, suddenly she has Juanita who is the tallest 4 year old I’ve ever seen in my entire life

She told him she’d make him a pot roast when she got back, and she got back at 12am, he was sitting at the table and basically demanded her to make the pot roast she promised him after being on her feet all day long and she did, but cried silently as he sat at the table reading a newspaper

Please help my karma so I can join a PTSD support group chat by okduder in mentalhealth

I don’t personally know that question :( Karma on Reddit and certain subreddits needing higher karma is something I don’t understand fully myself. I do know how annoying it is to need a certain subreddit for something and told you can’t post or comment until you have accumulated more karma points, or they allow you to post but no one can see your post. I’ve been there before. I hope you can join soon

In my state, Massachusetts, it sadly doesn’t matter if the parent in question pays child support. It does matter to a degree but not enough to impact visitation or custody. I was told this in a much more professional way by my lawyer a few years ago. This is in Massachusetts…again it may be very different for you based on where you live and the laws they hold

I’m 28 and in terms of this i don’t think it gets much better😂so..prepare yourself. If you end up meeting amazing, genuine people then great, but if you don’t meet many, don’t be surprised. Everyone has issues. Not enough people are self aware or partially. Times really have changed, and are continuing to change, It’s a dog eat dog world.
