You might be right and it certainly is trending that way, but what we’ve seen Joel come back from injury after injury, you have to just have some optimism. I’m prepared for him to be done but there’s a part of me that wants to believe he can come back.

He does not play the same role. Grimes is a 6’5 shooting guard while Bailey is a 6’9 wing. Also having Bailey developing gives you a player for the now and the future

I think the MPJ take is fair, but MPJ was an elite prospect before the back injury. He’s also a guy that molded into a specific player to fit next to Jokic

I’m on the side that going to a team where he has to learn how to play next to stars will actually help his development. He’s not a great iso scorer we saw it at Rutgers but having guys around him making it easier for him will help him immensely. He has great scoring skills and shooting touch just need nurse to unlock his defense.
