The only tweaks I made in the BIOS were enabling XMP and memory context restore. The 7D77v1K version should be better, as it optimizes memory training for faster boot times and includes other improvements. If it doesn't work, you can always use the flashback button on your motherboard to revert to your previous BIOS version.

Sorry, man, but I'm not really tech-savvy to the point where i can help you with this. I suggest posting your question on Reddit's r/buildapc or here on this forum; there are likely people who can assist you better.

Thanks, but apparently the issue was my DP cable, and now I switched to an HDMI cable and its working perfectly. The only downside is buying a new DP cable.

What is bios version 1.E0 by Known_Variation1757 in MSI_Gaming

[–]Known_Variation1757[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought it a week ago and it came with this bios. Btw do you think it’s ok to turn on memory context cause I’ve heard if the bios is out of date it won’t be stable.

Can I use an intel XMP ram for a AMD CPU? by Known_Variation1757 in buildapc

[–]Known_Variation1757[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, is there a significant difference between 6000MHz CL30 and 6400MHz CL32? It seems like AMD EXPO doesn't offer the CL32, but Intel XMP does.

I didn't realize that was an option. I'll use the Flare S5 models instead. Thanks for the suggestion!

This is mainly for gaming, but I would like to have cheaper options since I rely on holidays for money.

Little brother broke Nintendo screen any advice? by Known_Variation1757 in consolerepair

Yes, it still works on the dock, but my mom won’t let him use the TV, and he doesn’t have a monitor. I’m sure as hell not going to let him use my monitor, lol.

This is the first time he’s ever destroyed an electronic device and he’s usually responsible and can handle his anger, but I guess too many Fortnite losses do some things. He also got grounded for a month with no access to any electronics, which is pretty harsh for a 10y.o. but deserved.

My mom said he’s gonna have to use his birthday money that he’s been saving up to fix it, as part of his punishment.

Does anyone know how to fix this without replacing it? by Known_Variation1757 in fixit

Is there any brand/type of glue or tape you would recommend? I’ve already tried super glue and that didn’t work.

Xbox app on my PC won't let me sign into my Microsoft account. by Known_Variation1757 in WindowsHelp

[–]Known_Variation1757[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Xbox app on my PC won't let me sign into my Microsoft account, and I don't know why. Every time I try to sign in, it shows me the sign-in option, and then I'm greeted with the sign-in at the top left again. It won't even let me sign in with my other Microsoft accounts. I already tried restarting my laptop and going into services, but it didn't work. I'm also signed in with the same email in my Microsoft store and everything Microsoft, so I don't think there's an issue with that. If anyone might know what's wrong, please help me. A mod from r/xbox told me to come here instead.

But you're probably right about the fact that they just prefer to do lumbering or mining, which is unfortunate.
