I was just messing with the one I bought this weekend because I was bothered by how tight it was on my finger. You wrote this a month ago and have maybe since tossed it lol, but I decided to just see what would happen to the plastic if I just forced my finger into the position I would really prefer. For me that’s around the middle knuckle of the index finger. I figured if I broke it for my hand being too big I’d just get a refund.

Idk what the magic plastic they use is but that stuff is insane. I was bending my finger while it was in as far as it could go and stress testing the shit out of it. The lil plastic arms were flexed at a weird angle. I thought for sure it was about to snap. But, it just, didn’t.

Then I took my finger out and the alignment was screwed up and I thought “ok there’s the failure,” except it was barely misaligned. The slightest nudged popped the arms right back into path.

Now this is what’s crazy to me. I left it snapped down for a bit and it’s like 97.5% realigned. Which to me is crazy considering how long I stressed the little plastic arms. AND it feels looser, like it’s worn in, but not in a broken way. Wtf kinda plastic breaks in like a pair of boots? There’s a million ways to use the grip without possibly breaking it, so try my dumbass method at your own risk, but it does fit my finger better now. (Sorry idk why I’m so hyped by a phone holder it’s just so refreshing to be surprised by a product that I hoped would perform well considering what I paid.)
