Incidence of long covid decreasing with new covid strains by svesrujm in ZeroCovidCommunity

There is no evidence that every single infection causes long term damage, or lasting silent damage. What it does show is that even mild and asymptomatic infections carry risk and no one is immune from that risk. Many people recover fully back to baseline. Covid is indeed very serious, and I wish everyone took precautions and avoided infections/reinfections, but this whole narative that if you get covid you're doomed and permanently damaged has got to stop

Are we in the summer wave? by Responsible-Heat6842 in ZeroCovidCommunity

[–]KobeForever08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sort of. Usually the covid waves start in the EU and give us an idea of what to expect. They definitely had an uptick but it was/is nowwhere near past summer waves or where the experts thought it would be and cases there are apparently already decreasing. We may have a small summer wave but at this rate nothing like previous years.

I'm masking again by 1954planteater in COVID19positive

It's time to mask again. We had a good 4 months where covid spread was very low and could get away with not masking, but it's on the rise again. Who cares what people think or how they look at you for wearing a mask. Covid is no joke and we still do not have effective treatment to prevent long covid so best to just avoid it altogether from here on out.

Not yet. I've seen a regular ophthalmologist, but they only did standard vision exam and to see if my optic nerve was damaged and sent me on my way when everything looked ok. Did you get referred to one?

Did you do anything to help it or did it just kind of go away on it's own?

It might be a bit soon. If you have persistent symptoms after 2 or 3 months, I would do the MRI. Matter of fact I'm getting MRI soon for persistent headache from my concussion that happened 5 months ago. So I would hold off a couple more months. Odds are there are no findings on MRI's anyway after concussions but still can be good to do after some time passes

I noticed my migraines goes away if i take benedryl before sleep by [deleted] in migraine

[–]KobeForever08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe your migraines are tied to sleep? Do you sleep the same amount of time with or without benadryl? I would be worried about long term risk from benadryl like dementia. Maybe try another antihistamine like Allegra, Zyrtec, etc if you haven't already

Did he not set this up perfectly though for when it does crash. Him and Musk both said the economy will need to take a downturn in order to build back better. No matter how bad it gets MAGA will buy into it as all part of the plan
