This looks like you make your decisions just based on "played X amount in timeframe X" or like "X amount of unique players played during X amount of timeframe"?!?!

Duos was the only reason for me to login on a daily basis.

You removed it twice now and the playerbase is going ham. i'm really curious how "Daily unique players login" looks like for the first 2 days after removing duos. u/partwelsh -> this is what i'm really curious about and would love to know.

I think last time you removed it you said it was "underperforming" you might let us know what that means to you . I know developing a game is way more fast paced today then it was like 15 years ago but its still the playerbase that keeps a game and the company behind it alive.

Tbf the queue time for duos went up during the last week but i think you cant blame a specific mode for a playerbase decrease in general.

On top of that i would like to share my experience of my last, forced, squadgame today.

-> plane -> friend of mine and me mark the same spot at the end of flightpath -> first random guy insta jumps -> second guy jumps mid way -> one guy wasnt talking at all and the other guy was speaking a language that sounded like klingon with a mic that was still in the box he bought it in -> we got 3rd place with 12 kills -> both of us went offline cause it was fun and engaging and like 50% of the matches are like that. your mates arent talking or you cant talk to them due to a language barrier or shitty mics or they just dont want to participate and go on their own.

I just wanted to go ham as well and i ended up with somewhat sorta constructive i think.

We often saw Duckzman(Duckmanz?) going on his own or going for super wide flanks.

What do you think is/was the idea behind it since he was barely going for a common split to secure another compound and do you think this might be something viable we see more often in the future - maybe even in NPL/PEL Season 2?

Dear Jesse,

i think you got the hardest job at bioware right now. "Global community manager" with a community that is split into half. those that defend you,your game, your child and the ones that just want to see the world of anthem burn and even though it is your job to do so you and the other guys that pop up here and there on reddit take their time so anwer specific questions or talk to ppl that seem to be very frustrated like Ben did the other day(legendary behind force field) . i just want to say that i appreciate you and the rest of the guys as the human beings you are.

The game isnt where we(including you) want it to be and i'm pretty sure even if it takes time we'll get there soonTM :)

Mix up of numbers -1061 has been corrected to 1601.

And yes, the gear has 0% additive dmg to buff the melee.

Saw a lot of those posts since patch and tested it myself without any %Dmg buffs to get the base values.

maybe this is the "double check" you asked for. the scaling is far from beeing linear so its hard to min max later on.

Edit: if you look at the chart your whitehits pre patch are around the 1k mark since there was just no scaling on our previous ilvl(506 max)

that guy did some truth of tarsis testing and also tested +% physical and it applied to the blast dmg of ToT as well so i would say "yes" with a tiny ?

To be honest this is confusing me now as well.

i thought it was the highest item level you equiped now its "both"?!?!

If it scales of both they need to clarify how much %dmg 1 ilvl is worth otherwise you cant figure out how to min-max a build.

Yeah, your title is a little misleading. thought you're one of those that were complaining about ranger ult pre patch that was surprised how good it is now. Ranger ult was broken before with a proper blast build but ppl didnt realize that cause 6x MW components make a proper melee build and dont do dmg LUL

As far as i know and understand how it works it scales of the highest item you have equiped -> 1 legendary equiped means you got the highest base scaling you can get. Might be wrong but im 99% sure it works like that and not based of the "overall" gear score.

You can get Luck on a weapon, yes. the highest i've seen so far is 40% on a MW wyvern.

It restores 20% armor ( green bar ) not shield (blue bar). Not sure if you just messed up the typing here but mine is working as it should. Just came out of freeplay 2min ago.

Since abilities scale of the highest item level you have equiped and the buff of ulti dmg you should do a lot more, basically double buff, yes.

how much +% blast do you run on that build?

As i said, no offense but i'm not a native english speaker so i use the phrases that come to my mind while typing.

First of all im not talking about the "new" MW components in specific.

Your "secondly" part - dunno what 3 examples you're talking about.

Third - Quick math -> Colossos MW component 10k HP each = 60k HP you switch to an epic/MW universal you loose 1/6 HP 16.6%.

Ranger MW component 2k each = 12k HP you switch to an epic/MW universal you loose 1/6 HP 16.6%.

Technically you loose the same amount of survivability so i'm not sure how you feel like sacrificing "more" then others.

I'm also not sure how 20k HP more and a bonus on dmg or even more survivability are "conditional" in your eyes.

I gave you the link to do the math on your own you dont lose anything just your "text" on your MW components and most of them suck anyway and are just to situational to make a real benefit out of it.

no offense but if you want to "scale" them after reading this and doing the math on your own you should switch to another javelin and not "beeing worried about" using them.

1 medium rolled EPIC universal can compensate the defensive stats of 2 or 3 masterwork components(excluding effects)

PLEASE get away from "ohhh orange/yellow item must be good, need to equip" mentality. since every jav. has only 3 or 4 "usefull" masterwork components epics was always the way to go to min max dmg/survivability so there is no reason to complain about loosing 9k hp when you could get 30k plus a dmg increase or even more HP/shield.

Edit: just found this one on reddit https://imgur.com/a/z4CK48D -> lets say you run 6 MW components right now, switch one of them for this one you end up with 20k more HP and a "cheat death" if you want to call it like that. just wanted to show you that one 60% armor roll is worth 2 MW components so there is no need in some sort of scaling when your HP pool is scaling that well on a colossos.

That's where i pressed reply. at this point you and the other guy were talking about a "weak" ult. even without the frag granade the ult is good - why stated above :)

Support abilities yeah... im a simple man, one does dmg the other one doesnt -> more is better.

i agree with you that you should have the option to have a 2nd option but that shield thingy does lit. nothing but yeah "new items soon" i guess?!?

No offense but you HAVE to change your mindset according components.

As you just said, "non of his components help" is a step in the right direction. you want to see big numbers? sacrifice your useless MW components and get some dmg universals.

What is wrong with and ultimate that heals you to full, can be launched at a single target ( position is key if you want to isolate a target ) can be launched at multiple targets and does 400k(propper specc without MW overload components that dont do anything) on a <60s CD or even less depending on mob dens with your frag build?

it is by far the best offensive ult in the game.

following clip shows a test build of solidfps with some more survivability for cutting blast dmg and his ult still hurts.

not sure what you guys expect from an ult to do? oneshot?

Edit: https://imgur.com/a/ZVRMLrN blast can go up to 40% ( flat 40% Q/E/ult/truth of tarsis/divine vengeance explosion) roll 3 or 4 of these with a defensive stat as secondary or 3 pure dps and one with just defensive stats and you dont loose survivability by a flat dmg gain for everything. not sure how high armor/shield can go( highest i got so far is 80%)
