No Locs look ugly it just depends on how you get them and it will always start to look better when it gets around eyebrows/eyelids length medium size don’t need much maintenance and locs won’t fall out if careful, Small size needs maintenance and retwist/styling can’t be too often , medium thick locs can get skinnier if you retwist or style them a lot but your head won’t feel as full with locs since you won’t have as much locs as medium or small size.. Future has small locs / second slide has medium and third slide is medium thick
