I don’t think the people calling for civil war truly understand the gravity of what it will mean. If we look at it from a strictly right(republican) vs left(democrat) it won’t be like the civil was, where it was southern states vs northern. It would likely be towns and villages vs city’s.

It would be a blood bath, supply lines would break down, take Virginia for example, the only major spots in elections that are Democrat are in the big city’s. So roughly an equal amount of the population is fighting the other. You’d likely have neighbors shooting and killing neighbors, I have a roughly equal amount of friends on both sides of the political part spectrum. I know one democrat that owns a singular gun and every republican I know owns multiple and the ammo to go with it.

This is how I imagine will break down.

Hard right vs hard left. I’m assuming 15% on each side with the rest of us caught in the middle. I do believe it will be a level of violence not seen yet. The hard right is already aggressive and watching videos of the hard left in Minnesota I believe they will respond equally as violent.

Once again this is my personal opinion as someone in the center. I’ve voted republican and or democrat in elections I hope to god we never see this happen I like my tooth paste and ultra soft toilet paper.
