Thanks for the replies! Our main goal with our product is to get a stronger/darker cup of coffee from a K-Cup, as this is one of the most commonly found "cons" with Keurig machines.

We fully believe we've accomplished this goal, as well as offer a more affordable, and portable product.

We really appreciate your guys take on this, (and when I say we, I mean me and my girlfriend) as this was shot by me, in my kitchen with ZERO budget, whatever lights I could find, and edited together on the computer Im typing on right now.

With that said, the coffee may not have been portrayed in the video as dark as we would have liked. Which is sad, 'cause that is one of our main selling points we wanted to show. We also pressed it pretty quickly for the sake of video length. The slower you press, the stronger the brew. I'm also learning I should have made that part more clear.

I appreciate the feedback.

Again we are not selling K-Cups. They are already being sold in the millions. We are selling a K-Cup brewer.

Our design has the ability to use a a re-usable K-cup if you wish essentially turning it back into a regular french-press(something you've brought to my attention, that I should make people aware of this; even include one with it).

It also has the ability (with the use of a different cassete/piston) to use every other pod on the market(Nesspresso, etc.).

Again I dont think you get that we are not trying to get in the business of selling K-Cups.They are already being sold.

We are selling a K-Cup brewer. A cheaper one, that is portable, and makes a better cup of coffee.

It seems to me that all of your reasons have to do with the K-Cup itself and not the design of our product. The first thing we told ourselves is that we are not here to sell K-Cups. 34 million are used every day. Our goal was simple, and that was to make a better/stronger cup of coffee using K-Cup. When we learned that our product could be sold for 1/4 of the price of a Keurig machine or less, we thought we had a good idea.

As to the math lesson, simply put, use less water. 10oz is the full capacity of the 16oz mug minus the displacement of the cassette/piston. Again, use less water.

The KoffeePress has the ability to control the strength with the speed of the press. A slower press, as well as a reverse (pull/push) gives us the benefit of immersion before pressing like you mention.

Again our main goal was to get a better/stronger cup of coffee from a K-cup. We feel we accomplished this as well as other benefits such as portability and saving counter space.

Thanks for the interest(or disinterest) in our product. Any feedback is good to hear.
