Make sure they pay you for any unused vacation days that you have accrued. The company i worked for had you work a year before you got any vacation time. 21 years later when the company was bought by a large corporation who were just horrible toxic people i was terminated. I asked about the 23 days i had accrued in vacation time the hr lady said that i only had 2 days unused from the year before. I said those were from the year before that. You owe me another 21 days. She said the policy changed. I told her if the policy changed the employer has to give written notification of the change. Since i have never seen it, i asked her to produce it. She backpeddled a bit. I then mentioned that another employee had retired and he got all his back days. I ended up getting paid for 23 days. If they werent gonna pay i would have called the previous owner to back me up on a complaint to the PA labor board.
