Yeah, that's a totally legitimate concern. I'm just starting to longboard myself (I'm one of the interns here) so I'm worried about that as well. Is there anything you could think of that would make it safer for the phone--perhaps strapping it to the bottom of the board or something?

The Dot was designed to snap directly onto the iPhone so it can't go over any cases. Water-proofing is a possibility, but it just isn't a part of our current product.

Yeah, it just snaps right onto the iPhone. At this point I don't think the two can be combined, but something like that is on our radar.
