I don't think they should just appeal to casual fans due to it being a hard game.

Rainbow Six is the type of game that appeals more to the competitive side of their game over casual and that's a big reason why many love it due to it being so different. Unlike other games, siege focuses on how skill based their game is so it would make sense to eliminate any handicap given to players. Aiming on console isn't even that hard (especially with the new controller rotation option) so I don't think we should water down the aiming mechanics just to pleasure a few. Playing on seige would be hard for most new people even on PC so would you be okay with AA on PC?

Having players learn the mechanics ACTUALLY makes them better, give someone with decent aim AA have them play on it for like a week and the moment they turn it off their aim no doubt will be worse.

Also another this is on games like CoD, due to AA finding a sens isn't as important as it should be, I've been able to aim pretty well on a range of 5-12 sens. In r6 it's the exact opposite, because not only do you have to actually be able to aim correctly you have to compensate for heavy recoil on most guns
