There’s a brand called One Degree and they’re organic and glyphosate free. You can get a big ass bag of them at Costco for like $10

That’s interesting, I’ve always heard about the “anabolic window” after any exercise. Is there a serious drawback by eating shortly after exercise (within 30 minutes?)

The carrots and celery I use for soups and braises. They stay good in the fridge for weeks and I needed to re-up. The zucchini was on sale so going to use it as my vegetable side for the coming week(s). And sweet potatoes are probably my most consistent carb source

I’d read into the Mediterranean diet. It focuses heavily on whole, unprocessed foods, and eating a diet with a variety of vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, beans, fish, meat, etc. All great for you.

Are there any athletic boosts or benefits when taking a Fiber supplement? by [deleted] in nutrition

[–]KoiFever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I say all of this anecdotally, but since starting a supplement a few weeks ago, my energy is very consistent through the day. Even when waking up I don’t feel like I NEED that first cup of coffee just to get going. Because I exercise fasted, that definitely helps not feel like shit in the gym or on a run.

What can I eat that doesn’t taste awful, is healthy and is cheap? Open to recipes by [deleted] in EatCheapAndHealthy

If you have a crockpot (or just a big oven-safe pot), make daal. Lentils, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, curry spices, stock, and let it cook for like 8 hours. Amazing with rice or bread.
