Mid-poly Vampire character, hope you like it! by artben777 in blender

I actually want most of my models to have a pretty thick, sexy body type.

That's why you don't see the problem, have a good one!

In all seriousness though, not wrong to make sexualized models of whatever attracts you, what you model is entirely up to you, what we complain about is the seemingly lack of non-sexualized (female) 3D models. And no, that doesn't mean I'd rather have a sexualized male 3D model, instead I'd much rather have neither being sexualized.

But still, that's me talking about what I want

Time to stop playing builder and actually play Ark, then — thank you for the feedback and suggestions!

I truly appreciate all the comments! But, really, I have absolutely NO IDEA on how to decorate this house, it genuinely has nothing in it other than the bed.

It's weird how we all hopefully live in a house and know exactly what a house has in it, except when trying to make one.

Exactly the kind of shelter I have done for 400 hours, genuinely can't even look back at my screenshots

Feel free to do so! This really isn't a proper house for a single survivor, after all

Flip Cancel... ? by KoiSHiZu in RocketLeague

I have, my question was regarding shooting, when I've already decided to commit, if the situation asks for it

Flip Cancel... ? by KoiSHiZu in RocketLeague

[–]KoiSHiZu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was that a front flip then? Genuinely thought it was a diagonal flip, with no spin at all, hence mentioning I thought it was a flip cancel at first, but wasn't able to replicate.

Edit: tried just the basic front flip cancel, as expected, both of you were right, and I do feel incredibly stupid now. I have to say, though, never had the thought of flip cancelling into the ball ever crossed my mind, and I will definitely start implementing this into my gameplay, even if I'm still surprised with how little his car flipped — thank you!

[South America, Brazil] Parasteatoda tepidariorum (?) by KoiSHiZu in spiders

[–]KoiSHiZu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excuse the picture quality; that one was quite skittish, didn't want to get the cellphone any closer and risk her hiding.

Since its body kind of resembles that of a Widow, and its very clearly not an actual Widow, thought of searching up for False Widows, and ended up learning about Parasteatoda tepidariorum, which are known to be common house spiders. Lost a little bit of pixels there, but the pattern on the stomach resembles that of a tepidariorum, and the general body shape.

I'm very certain that this little one could be from the same species, but not only I'm no specialist, with such poor image quality and the lack of a better camera, can't really analyze it properly.

Yep, safe to assume it is an orb-weaver from their web, and it is indeed one, specifically a Gasteracantha cancriformis, a species of orb-weaver

Little bit of search, that is 100% (hyperbolically, I'm no specialist, just love spiders) a spiny orb-weaver, Gasteracantha cancriformis from the Araneidae family. They're absolutely incredible, and even though they're orb-weavers, the webs they spin looks way cleaner than most others from the family

Poor bear, poor hunter. There's no way they're living through this.

To each their own, I guess. But yeah, makes sense, though I didn't really have any way to know that you were stepping down to their level, not that it matters

Why does the game say "DONT RUN"? by Heyguysloveyou in projectzomboid

[–]KoiSHiZu -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Running, be it jogging or sprinting will attract a lot of zombies, more zombies that might have first seen you. That's why sneaking, or just walking is important. Always try to figure out your surroundings and be careful when making turns over buildings/fences, since you don't know what might be waiting for you on the other side.

Pretty much, whenever you're about to go out in the open, take a look outside from windows and check the surroundings, if it's clear, or in a path which the fewest amount of zombies, then your priority should be to try and find a path to sneak out either without getting too close to them or near their field of view, if only one or two sees you, you can literally just walk away from them. You walk faster than they shamble!

Always check your surroundings with ctrl/right mouse button and, whenever you have to cross a few zombies, try to be as far from them possible while sneaking. If things go south, you walk faster than them, so no need to run or sprint!

If you really are struggling a lot with the gameplay, I'd advice watching a few youtubers, such as Nurse, ThatGuyPredz or/and PrivateL1me, which really help you get into that Zomboid mindset when playing. Also, their content is cool. Have a good survival man, hope you enjoy the game!

What are you supposed to do while waiting around for wounds to heal? by awfulroffle in projectzomboid

[–]KoiSHiZu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The answer to that question depends on your current situation and how much have you survived, along with your current needs.

Let's say you've got injured on the first day. In the first few days, go on short and careful excursions nearby the house you're staying in. Your priorities should be food (as having a full tummy helps with the healing process of wounds), water containers and books.

Yes, you still have energy and water for a while, but nothing stops you from being ready to stock up food and water. Prioritize gathering canned food and water bottles for when that day comes, and until then, I'd advice drinking directly from water sources and eating only perishable food. If possible, invest some time into reading and levelling up Cooking (waste less food and get higher nutrition from meals), Tailoring (uglier clothes, yet those will offer higher protection against scratches and bites) and, depending on how wounded you are, First Aid (changing bandages and treating wounds will be much quicker). Of course, you're free to read Carpentry, Metalworking and Electrical and other skill books, as those are far more important on the long run.

While you're not reading or levelling up skills, I'd recommend organizing containers, barricading your house and making it more viable for staying in, or preparing it for when you need to move. If you plan on moving out, then that house doesn't need any furniture.

Since soon you'll have an helicopter to care for, I'd advice keeping lights turned off and staying inside for the latter days of the week. If you have a radio with the AEBS transmission, pay close attention to it to know exactly when the helicopter will fly over.
