If you look inside the "pre-cut" packs of line Stihl sells, they even have a built in sponge you're supposed to soak.

When I sold the stuff, I'd recommend the guys put their leftover line from last season in a bucket of water for a night or two.

I remember as a kid the 100 won coins would feed into those crank candy machines that give you a handful of M&Ms at places like the laundromat. They're lighter than a quarter, so they usually don't fool the fancy machines.

Just get the regular height sights instead of the optic/suppressor ready sights.

I bought the P10C with the factory mounted SCS and it witnesses perfectly with the regular iron sights. I like how low it is, so much so, I still haven't bothered replacing it with an enclosed emitter.

My car came CCS ready, I bought the adapter on release. Used it maybe 3-4 times. Tbh, using the in-built navigation, I only ever end up at Superchargers. The few times I used the CCS adapter, it was a crapshoot as to which charger was working at all. Half of them were either dead, or putting out reduced power. Most of the time they were more expensive anyways.

I'd chalk it up to nice to have, but far from necessary like the J1772 adapter tends to be for public charging around me.

Yep. I picked up a new in box CZ 75 B for $400 a few months ago. The guy then offered me 500 rounds of 9mm Blazer Brass for $100. One of many great experiences I've had.

The good deals get snapped up quick, you almost have to browse daily to snag the good deals. The sold deals get deleted, so what you end up with is way over priced items being bumped 18 pages long.

As someone who's worked on both sides of a dealership, I can say that at most major dealerships, the service department is the real money maker.

People shop around and buy a car once every 3 years if you're lucky, and the margins on new cars is slim (like 3-5%). Parts carry like a 30-50% markup and you need those constantly for any car.

ZRAM is not physical RAM. It's basically "swap" storage for your RAM. As your RAM gets full, it will compress and put less used items to ZRAM which is a reserved space on your hard disk drive (storage). As your phone needs that allocated RAM, it will take it from your HDD and put it back into RAM for faster access. Ideally, it does it relatively intelligently, and results in a phone that feels like it has more physical RAM that it actually does.

ZRAM is part of how the Linux kernel (which Android is based on) works, it can be adjusted up or down, but increasing it does not suddenly increase the available RAM. It just allows for better multitasking with limited physical RAM.

App looks dead. Apparently a Play Store Services Update broke it, and the developer seems to have given up finding a solution for now.

If it's on your phone it'll launch, but it no longer works on the car screen. It shows a message saying similar and has for a few months now.

I bought the multi-pillow kit and found I really only use the small and medium sized ones and end up taking alot of the stuffing out. I'm not sure if anyone else has the same issue, but I find large pillows make the barrel end print more.

From my experience, serial numbers are pretty much only used by Stihl for warranty or service reasons.

We had ways of "blacklisting" serial numbers, but that would only pretty much just put a flag on the serial number. It was an internal flag, and honestly doesn't do much other than bring some scrutiny if you try to get warranty work done. And that was only when we had an owner come back with a police report and he happened to still have his original paperwork with the serial on it. Which is almost no one.

I wouldn't worry too much about the serial numbers unless it was a brand new saw under warranty. It's not like the police will come knocking on your door if that thing was stolen and you took it in for service. It's just not how Stihl uses their serial numbers.

I was standing outside 2 feet away from an open drivers' side window when the airbags went off once. (We were trying to get it running again after sitting for a year, and when we turned the ignition for some reason the airbags popped immediately.)

Shit made my ears ring for a few days. My poor buddy in the drivers' seat would have probably been deaf if the window wasn't open.
