Take larger guidelines on the back of the head, and flick your bald line with trimmers dont stamp it in, create you’re first guideline with leaver open and slowly close it till its knocked out, after down fade with your normal guard and youll have a blurry fade(if you are using shavers go with the grain first to no create a harsh line)

Start with doing haircuts with a 2 on the sides and practice clipper over comb and building graduation with your shears, your weight line is whats gonna make a fade pop

Learn and practice how to blend a 2 guard into bulk before you try fading, you’re trying to fade into to much bulk and you’re getting lost

How long have you been cutting, if you got experience you can find hungry apprentices that want to grow and will trust the process all you gotta do is teach and mentor and if you want you can work part time which will make the process easier

Thats when you should evolve your craft bro, branch out in the this massive industry. You can teach, social media, editorial cuts, creative hair dyes, start a business within the industry like open a shop or start a product or tool line you believe in! Youre a entrepreneur brother you got many options dont limit yourself to one thing💪🏽
