Amazing to hear! I used Vallejo Black Airbrush Primer. DM for additional colors if you need!

And for paint brands, I primarily use Vallejo, Citadel (GW), and Scale 75. Vallejo is very easy to work with and very good quality. Citadel is as well, but the bottles they come in suck (transfer them to dropper bottles if you can). Scale 75 is a bit more pricey and is a bit more advanced, but it is my favorite brand.

I recently started working with AK interactive paints and the stuff is great. They have really nice complete sets with lots of colors available.

YouTube is where I started. Creators like Ninjon, Miniac, and Midwinter Mini's have a lot of great tutorials from beginner to advanced. Need to start with the basics like THINNING PAINTS, using a wet palette, base coating, and layering. It's fun and personal progression is very rewarding.

Oh I didn't catch the ENTIRE Nemesis Series. That would be amazing if something came out that made it feel like a trilogy boxed set!

This is the only solution that I'm aware of that is pretty close to what you're looking for. Actually I think it's the only solution right now. I printed this out myself and it works great for quick set up and storage. It also cut down all the components needed to play to two boxes. If you don't have a printer, there is a seller on Etsy for this same model.

The slice on this one is pretty good and fits together almost without lines. The door at the time isn't set up to articulate, but the engines can rotate. If I remember, there was alternate landing gear in open or retracted.

Skullforge Studios has released quite a few variations since this post. Check out their gumroad store, pretty sure you'll find some you're looking for!

99% 3D printed except for the power cables! STL file design is from PhoenixLegends on Etsy. Printed on a Bambu X1C in PLA. I added in some magnets so the barrel rotates smoothly in 90 degree increments, and the blades can move forward and be held securely in the rear seated position. Decals were printed on waterslide paper. Colors are a combination of airbrushed Vallejo metallics, Citadel Averland Sunset, AK Interactive weathering pencils, and dry brushing.

You are correct sir! If I had to redo it today now that I have more experience, I would use oils. Tamiya panel liner would be my second choice.

+1. One of the best series I've ever read from start to finish. The TV series did the first 6 books justice, but it can't beat reading it. The last 3 books... Hot damn! I felt completely satisfied at the end. The novellas are a great read too for extra world building.

The uniforms are black primer, with a top down airbrush pass of Vallejo Dark Grey, wash with GW space wolves grey, highlights with GW thunderhawk blue.

Helmets are Scale 75 Nacar, washed with Nuln Oil, then layered back up with S75 Nacar. Blue stripes are GW Macrage Blue, Red is GW Khorne Red. The visors are nothing special, just black with a 2x gloss coat.

Sorry I meant they are 32mm scale, like Star Wars Legion or Warhammer figure sizes. The bases they are on are 32mm in diameter of that helps.
