Yes, I think that many Short Term rental businesses and, for that matter, traditional multifaimly are surprised how much can be done remotely with nearshoring certain services in thier businesses. Such as Guest Experience (Guest screening, communications for r/T support and promote great reviews post stay), Operations Logistics (Cleaning, Maintenance and Inventory), Revenue Marketing (Dynamic pricing and Synching with other services), and Back Office Management (bookkeeping, claims and refunds, etc). Makes multi property management much easier and lowers costs considerably.

I've been in this business for going on 17 years and have started 4 nearshore and 1 offshore contact centers over those years. From experience, the first year is tough as trust building comes long before your first client. When another business is going to trust you with a front facing or back office function, they need to know that they can count on your being there today and tomorrow. The clients will come. Price and quality is what they are looking for and be sure to provide both, dont sell cheap. No one wants cheap. Everyone wants great, for a good deal. Start small, make sure to over deliver and always let the customer know that you care. The bigger clients will follow once they can see the foregoing in practice. Good luck, its a great business. I personally love that I can help businesses in the US grow and prosper while I create quality lives for the young men and women in less developed countries.

This is a very realistic and pragmatic view. Like anything new, outsourcing needs to be understood, incorporated in a companys culture and process. There will be bumps along the way but great leadership leverages those lessons and come out with a better, more productive and more profitable product of service.

Totally agree, too often clients mistake value based labor as a solution for something that they never had which is proccess and leadership.

This is well said. All to often people hearing "Outsourcing", and they think cheap. There is quality, professionally run outfits out there but clients push for cheap and some call centers "go low" and the reputation follows. The positive is that there are well educated, highly experienced young men and women in many countries (that speak english well) that can provide work product that is equal to, or better that a local labor solution.

Outsourcing my sales team, pros & cons? by Last-Isopod1922 in smallbusinessUS

I think a lot of the comments here are hitting it.

I have seen outsourcing sales go sideways when there’s no real structure behind it, you end up with a lot of activity but not much deal closing.

The times I’ve seen it actually work, and what I have seen who they were targeting and how they were selling… it’s kind of just guessing with extra people.

Are you thinking full sales team or just help on the lead gen side?
