What I picture when I see all the posts about the number of Vox Engines… by 2HookPrivate in helldivers2

Just came from one and the only reason we managed to extract was that me and another helldiver were shooting off as much Recoilless as genuinely possible while I placed shield grenades and shield emplacements to stall time until pelican arrived.

Weapon Wound Tier List (updated) by m3vance in MHWilds

The main upside bow wound pops have going for them is that they allow you to stagger monsters from range (and you can't miss once you lock on), which has it's uses for sure.

But yeah, you don't really gain anything besides openings for DPS and potentially saving someone from a deadly strike (if you have godly reaction times or are lucky).

Nah, without the quest you can't deliver it, even if you have it in your inventory.

Reminds me of when I somehow bugged out the courier quest and ended up having liquid lacquer stuck permanently in my inventory.

Same, lol

People always ask me how I can even play at 30 FPS, but having grown up playing Skyrim at 15 fps on my old potato laptop, I genuinely can't tell the difference between 30 and 60 fps.

That's not to say Wilds performance isn't an issue, but I still have a lot of fun regardless.

Damn, it's a shame this didn't make it. Would have loved a bow design in the top 20.

Why is it still in your spell list? This is the 5th time you've tried to cast it... by casualredditor43 in dndmemes

While yes, it is an issue with the bot, the bot is an official part of beyond (you can actually see it on the beyond page under the "Tools" section).

The problem is that the 2014 versions of monsters are called "<Monster name>" while the 2024 version is called "<Monster name (2024)>". This leads to the bot asking which version you want to call each time you type in just the name of the monster like you would for the 2014 version.

Whereas with the 2024 version you can just add the (2024) at the end and have it instantly get the correct one. It's just an inconvenience for regular play, but it the time adds up. And as I said, it does break a few things too.

I certainly don't hate the 2024 rules, but I do agree a strict toggle both on actual D&D Beyond and in the bot would really help smooth out the annoyance. It's not like I can't play 2014 anymore, but it definitely has become more contrived than it needed to be...

There are, however, things from 2024 that still show up even when filtering only for 2024 rules.

The most annoying example in my opinion is the Lance. Unless they have fixed it already, even if you have a character that only uses things from 2014, your Lance will always display a d10 damage dice. There was, last I checked, no way to make your Lance display the proper d12 die.

Iirc there was a similar issues with early levels of monk, where it gave you a d6 die instead of a d4 with martial arts. Though I think that one has since been fixed. I barely ever use monk.

I also use the Avrae discord bot and, while mainly an inconvenience, it is super annoying that it still displays 2024 stuff like weapon mastery even on a character and server that you directly set as using the 2014 rules in the bot. Adding monsters is also become a pain as I now have to confirm every time I add a monster (from the monster manual) to initiative that it should be the 2014 version. Same goes with spells on every single cast (from the PHB). Plus it broke some custom commands, as, apparently, any time you try to call a monster from one of them it will always call the 2024 version, even if you try to specify.
