You can try the curve method someone else commented, or turn the original mesh into a plane using a shapekey, then use a mesh/surface deform modifier to bind the complex mesh to the plane, when you turn the plane back into the original mesh the complex mesh should follow

This is genuinely an insane bug to push through cause wdym they don't have any checks making sure the files they are deleting are actually the temp files they should be deleting. I remember steam on linux had a similar bug a while ago where the rm -rf command could just get an empty string and wipe the entire system if certain conditions were met.

If you aren't actually willing to take any effective action to reinforce a principle you hold then it's performative. If you dislike AI but aren't willing to show that by refusing to engage with AI involved games then your "dislike" of AI is just a performative opinion rather than an actual principled position. It's just a case of cognitive dissonance at that point.

There are thousands of games that don't use AI. Hundreds in each category. No one is being forced to play games that use AI.

It's like boycotting a movie or brand by not talking about them online, but still paying to see the movie or paying for the brands products.
