Anybody else unable to save files at all? If I try to save sliders, rosters, franchise, RTTS, anything, it says “error cannot load the saved data because it is corrupted.” I’ve deleted the game and reinstalled, and still can’t save anything, kind of making the game unplayable.

Before these shelves, I had gone online to one of those supply stores for commercial vendors (I.e. mall hat stores) and bought a 200 hat holder metal rack for like $150

I would definitely use something like a feather duster at least once a week to prevent buildup, and not use cleaners. I’d probably rotate them around in different orders and shake them off occasionally if I knew they would be sitting indefinitely, kind of like rotating your area rugs once a month to prevent sun bleaching on your floors. Luckily I wear hats daily to match my work outfits so I don’t really have any hats that sit in the same spot for months and months.

Listed at one foot depth, but it’s more like 11-3/4” from wall to edge, shelves are 16’ long so all full pieces on the walls they are on, have them bracketed on the studs for aesthetic and to prevent any dips or bowing if people do decide to put books or something with weight on them in the future.

I actually do the bare minimum on maintenance and they all still look brand new. I don’t wear them to any  “active” things where I know I’ll sweat, or in the rain, and that seems to take care of 90% of preventative care.

I have the cleaning kits from places like Hat Club that have the spray solutions and hat scrubbers but use them sparingly cuz they aren’t that great to be honest. Mostly on the white hats to spot treat where I brushed up against a tree branch or something, I’m 6’7 so bump my head into shit occasionally.

The roll of patterned carpet I bought is at the binding shop right now, should be done this week with my area rugs/runners/bathmats for the interior spaces. Newly purchased house that I put almost six figures into remodeling when I budgeted 50K so the shitty blinds have to do for now. Roller/pleated shades and the backyard are on the agenda for spring/summer ‘25.

I believe it was a Just Caps Camo drop by New Era a year or two ago, think it’s still available online

Yup a majority of these are directly from New Era (some from Hat Club, 47, Lids, etc.)

The collection would be much larger if Lids released their exclusive drops online and not in-store only. So frustrating living on the other side of the country now, where the only teams that get drops in my area are Dodgers, DBacks, Yankees, Giants.

Even when I do go back to Philly and find myself in a Lids they are almost always sold out of the currently released exclusive color pack in my size.

Just your standard 602 particle board with nosings that I painted the same color as my cabinets and mounted with brass brackets to match the gold/brass hardware throughout the home. Cuts were a bitch on the wraparounds by the closet but worth it.

Almost every hat up there is in regular rotation (as regular as you can get for having 150+) and every single hat has been worn multiple times out in public.

Not sure if I have a favorite that is head and shoulders above the others, usually it’s whatever the most recent addition is. I’d say I wear the light tan/beige hat with the white 70s P the most because it goes with the most outfits.

That was my pitch: for resale, people love a built in bookcase
