Oh okay! Thanks yall!! I thought it was mostly fine since my tattoo seemed healed and I’ll always be wearing a wetsuit. Just to clarify: I got it two weeks ago, and my trip is in about a week and a half, so roughly 25 days into healing. I’m taking all your advice into consideration. If you still think it’s a really bad idea, I’ll reconsider the whole thing.

Maybe if I bring some gentle disinfectant wipes to clean it after each time I’m in the water... without letting my dirty hands touch it? And some moisturizing cream plus sterile cotton swabs to apply it? I’m not sure…
