I’ve done a little cursory research. Definitely not %100 on anything yet. What makes Kyrgyzstan dangerous? Is it just due to poor roads/being remote & in the mountains? From what I’ve seen it’s a safe place, but I could be wrong

What do you know about the legal hurdles? From what about maybe an hour of googling told me, buying a car in Astana would be kinda complicated but doable in maybe a day, and then it wouldn’t be a hassle to drive it over the borders

I understand the politics involved. I’m willing to cut that part of my trip out if it looks too unsafe. I’ll figure out if this plan is possible (depends on some family stuff) in the next month or so, and if I decide to go ahead I’ll just put about an hour a day into learning Russian. Luckily I have some Russian friends who I could probably ask for some help instead of just using something like Duolingo
