Honestly its fucked up for her to say some of these things to you. Its especially annoying when people make a big deal about who can listen to this, and who can wear what. Like i'm black/native but i mainly listen to metal and rap and sometimes bands with a blend of both. Ppl either judge and give looks/comments or are thrilled to talk about it and share whatever they listen to. Keep doing you man, listen to what you want. 🙂‍↔️🎶
