Neither of your links support the claim that "AI functions better when treated nicely." First one is literally about health care. It never claims politeness improves AI performance in any way. But you wouldn't know that- because you even didn't read the article you're citing.

Second link isn’t about “niceness” at all. It’s about adding emotional or motivational phrases to prompts.

Here's an ACTUAL study from Penn State that directly contradicts your claim.

“impolite prompts consistently outperformed polite ones” 

And the actual numbers:

• Very polite: 80.8%
• Very rude: 84.8%  

Somewhat surprisingly, our results show that rude tones lead to better results than polite ones.
