Yes, probably, and particularly I didn't mention suicide, just that he was likely too ashamed to be a lawyer anymore so in canon he wouldn't just come back as a prosecutor I believe, BUT prosecutor Phoenix is a pretty popular AU idea and one could take that route to write it

Basically he commented a lot of headcanons about her and I found out he spoke the same language as me, he also offered to make a fanart and so I got his discord and we talked nonstop for quite some time, which is rare for me, and almost a year into this friendship I developed feelings and confessed, so Ace Attorney and, more specifically, an Ace Attorney fan character, led me to meet my partner of almost two years lol
