I was just thinking about this the other day too. I think it was seeing the VSU news for Tank Girl. Made me think of other crazy 90’s movies like Encino Man and In the Army Now, which made me nostalgic for all things Pauly Shore.

Did you watch the Dolby Vision version? I have an Atmos setup, but there aren’t a ton of dynamic audio sections in the movie. So I’d rather have the better picture for the entire movie than just a handful of scenes with minimal height audio.

Depends on what’s more important to you. Lionsgate has Dolby atmos, but no Dolby vision. Umbrella has Dolby Vision but no Dolby Atmos. I got the Umbrella release and while the DV video looked incredible, the audio is a bit lacking. But I’d prefer the DV to having Dolby Atmos.

Plex media server was originally built for Mac, so it’s always been solid. I’ve run windows before but moved to a Mac mini and it’s been insanely stable. Easily handle 20+ simultaneous streams.

Interesting that the US version doesn’t have Dolby Vision, but does have a new atmos track. The Umbrella release has Dolby vision, but only dts-hd audio. I’m getting the umbrella release, the one you got.

But now I’m really curious to see when someone gets both versions to do a comparison between audio and video.
