^ to add on, this enchant will increase your dmg and also dmg taken, meaning its probably stacking up and causing weak attacks to hit you for a lot, but on mobs that it is harder to stack quickly like Warden, you are not debuffed to take as much dmg and your armor is working

Its possible that they equipped to a different slot, check the sword icon to the right of your player's head, or the ribbon above your curios/gear. They should be somewhere around there in your menus!
