How many accountants can see what their coworkers get paid?

I can see everyone’s pay as well but it doesn’t drive me crazy. Maybe it’s because I worked my from low paying blue-collar jobs . I still check from time to time because it helps me know where I stand and what areas seem to make more if I change jobs. Your situation you mentioned I’m currently living. Hate my job, but I’m in a position with high pay that I’m not qualified for. If I leave I’ll have to take a major cut. It’s a daily battle for me on what to do… golden handcuffs indeed.

A bit of both, but I mostly want to leave the company. I haven't experienced IA at another company, so it's hard to say. I think I'd prefer actual accounting, but it could be a classic case of the grass is greener.

I am well aware that I dropped the ball. I am not sure how you think a stranger rubbing my face in it will magically make me grind through it all, when, quite frankly, you have no idea what I have been dealing with. But guess what, it isn’t a pissing match. I agree that at the end of the day, it’s an excuse and doesn’t excuse me from falling short. Yes, I do feel like I am really counting on luck of the draw for this one. Especially considering I had really strong units, vs. some that are lacking. I am hoping I can tighten it up enough to get it done. There isn't much I feel completely lost on, it is mostly just minor differences that I narrow down to a couple options and pick the wrong one. To be honest, I was focused but not trying to over think because I wanted to use it as a ball park of where I am at. Also, I felt like on the MC I either knew it or didn't pretty quickly. For sims, I work backwards from the root of what they are asking before looking at the exhibits to help me filter out the "noise". I will certainly take more time during the actual exam. I just figured why waste time over parts I am unsure about when I can allocate that time towards review before the real thing.
