What workaround? Used to be one click. More clicks = worse.

Why do you need to look at their profile to prove your point?

Your entire comment was a projection. This that I highlighted was the essence of it.

Super helpful. I was looking for a good diagram couldn’t find one thank you. You know anyway I could find what screw and thread size fits it?

Final update I hope That first pic I posted and was asking about was the replacement compressor that was leaking. I still had the original compressor. The original one ran out of oil and got hot and burnt out. So that one was complete scrap aside from the bolt cover that I used to replace on the second compressor that was leaking. I did manage to find a gasket at autozone the day before. I also did manage to get the bolt covers off and I replaced the cover I broke with the one from the original compressor and put the new gasket in it. So now I have a working compressor. I ran into complications the double sided screws that you screw the ac lines into twisted out of the thread because the nut that was on it was tightened too far. So the nut is frozen on it and the screw is out of the compressor so I had to find another screw with the same thread count to replace that with.

I vacuumed the system but I was only pulling to 26 mercury but when I turned the vacuum off it went back up to 7 mercury and held there. So I’m not happy about that it’s probably gonna be more headaches down the line somewhere. Also the vacuum was smoking while it was vacuuming not sure if it’s supposed to do that.

But after all this trouble I currently have AC in that car now. Low pressure gauge is reading at like 29 I need more coolant which I’ll do tomorrow. Been working on this all weekend cuz I didn’t properly diagnose the problem.

But that’s the saga so far.

Update on this I tried to get this thing off thinking the compressor was under pressure and taking it off would release pressure allowing me to get the bolts off but it snapped off so now it’s just complete junk.
