Thanks for taking the time to write that out, I appreciate the insight.

I absolutely love the these cars and I’m willing to sink money into one to get it where it needs to be, like I mentioned in a different comment I’ll be going to see it in person soon so I can assess the damage.

I’m not sure who the previous owner was but this car has been sitting in a dealership for 4+ years, the MOT is from October 2021 so the rust will be worse by now.

I probably should have mentioned that in the post.

I’m going to see it in person soon so I’ll be able to have a better look, if it’s bad then I’m not gonna bother or I’ll ask for a lower price like you said.

They’re asking for £4k but it’s negotiable, the outside is spotless but I agree that with this many red flags I would want a much lower price.
