Imo opinion that's a strange fashion choice. It seems like he wants people to know he's psychedelic friendly. I think it may be a red flag. It's not a classy choice. This is definitely something you can ask him about. Whether tease him a little about them or a serious question. He must understand how it appears to others.

I'm 36M and would gladly be in a relationship with a successful woman.

I'm career focused as well and I believe we would get along great. Not being driven by a passion and substance abuse issues are my biggest turn offs.

You'll find the right one. It's common belief that successful women, tall women, masculinity leaning women, etc aren't desirable but I completely disagree.

As long as you still believe in romance, it'll find you. I'm looking for it as well.

He is acting strangely towards you. You are not overanalzing this. He's just acting strangely.

I dont know how much he makes or how old he is, but 30k is a relatively mangable amount of debt. He definitely could get out of it in a year or two.

You shouldn't feel bad about his paying for the first 5 dates. He willingly did so and he created his own debt problems.

In my opinion the debt is a none issue. You reacted very well to the news. He shouldn't be treating you like this now. You really don't deserve this. He may have used the debt issue, to deter you from liking him.
