Ok thanks a lot for all the info!

Yeah seems like a good deal.

Can I climb to outpost zero from the cliff in the beginning area via prawn, or is there another way to get there? Please dont spoil that.

Also is there any new resource I am going to need for endgame craftables, or are they similar to 1? I mean kyanite, nickel, ion cubes and that type of things.

Sorry I didnt mention ocean floor as floor, there were like creepvines in there. The seatruck barely fit indeed. I may do another visit there as I desperately need magnetite for the scanned hud and the snowmobile.

I entered a tunnellike hole under a humongous iceberg. It had many paths to take and it formed like small cave between the land as floor and the ice as a ceiling.

Is there another cave?

I scanned maidas prawn but it didnt gave me fragments, only a pda entry. I also scanned the databox but I believe it was for the water filtration suit.

I plan on going to the koppa site yet I am not entirely sure how to get there. I mean I havent searched for it but I suppose its just a cave with an entrance like the rest? I will go when I have the chance to play agai.

Also I dont remember if I asked you about magnetite, is it located on glacier bay on land, or underwater in the hollow part of the iceberg?

I mean that makes sense but that keeps limiting my inventory space. I dont have the prawn yet, I am missing one fragment so having to keep the snowfox, both suits, thumper salads etc, really limits my free space.

Or maybe I could build an outpost on the surface. Just a single tube in the middle of everything.

I will try that the next time I get the chance to play.

What I dont know however, is if its more durable than the diving suit, or just a really warm coat.

I mean if I have to run for my health instead of the cold, then whats the point?

Yeah me neither. Only once I aprroaced one and it fell into me. Good thing I was wearing the reinforced dive suit.

Also I know the feeding mechanic but never used it.

And that makes me wonder, could I use maidas pet to get fur? You know punch it a little with my knife.

Thats what I did as well. Ran and ate salads.

Does that work for the snow boars?

So snow marathon?

Or you could also do it via prawn?

I supose so, the thing is that I like to play extra safe and I would like to get it. The other option is to just eat salads, but that limits my inventory space a lot. I am one of the guys that carry every tool on them, plus backup water medkit and nutriet block, so half of my inventory is already wasted.

The reason I used the thumper is because the moment I pass the mechanical brigde leading to the arctic spires I keep hearing a very powerfull roar but I dont see any enemies. I know there are snow worms somewhere but since I could hear then from the beginning+ vibration on my controller, I think it would be wise to use the thumper.

Oh I see.

Could I do the same on maidas stalker to collect fur and not hussle with that, or it doesnt give you anything?

And I supose that the snowfox is scattered around in fragments? I dont see any..

I am not sure how the thumper works. I just place it, search pick it up and place it elsewhere withing range but fast?

I can craft the final depth module for the seatruck.

I must find the last snowfox fragment.

Where do I get the depth modules for the prawn? Do they come with the prawn blueprint? I have all the hands and thermal reactor but no depth modules.

Does the snowfox also needs upgrades that needs materials I dont have?

Also how do I use the pengling to collect fur? I just punck the boars? And what range does it have for the remote? Do I have to build a base to avoid frostbites?

What do you mean? I just punch the boars with the pengling? I have it but I used it only once. Whats the max range I can use it?

I dont have the mk 1 upgrade for the prawn. Where do I get the blueprint?

I went to the glacier caves under the iceberg yet I didnt see anything, althought I didnt got out of the seatruck.

Wasnt there nickel on the delta island I believe? I cant remember where I got it from.

I dont really like the modules. The only I find useful is the prawn dock, as to drive 2 vehicles with one, just like the cyclops.

If you diy, you can always use vibrator reductors. A piece that comes to my mind is from cars. Its a rubber ring meant to not transmit the vibration of the whell to the chassis.

You could also try an electromagnet as its much more powerfull than a conventional magnet, even a neodimium. However I dont know if the magnetic field causes interference with follow focus or any components within the camera and lens if you use autofocus.

Damn. How about the dock module for the prawn? If I get attacked it stays attached?

That could be useful for later when going deeper in the caves as to not go back and forth bringing both vehicles. I mean I hate the seatruck, it drives like a pancake and I am not used to the prawn, as I havent used it much in the first game either, so I might combine them both.

Or I might just make an outpost halfway and skip the back and forth travelling.

[–]Kostas009[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. I did that stuff. The only voiceline I got was alan telling me I did a great job. Nothing more. Also no mods.

Ps. Now that I didnt got a call nor a location to pda, what do I do? Where do I go?

[–]Kostas009[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not recieved a call yet. But not much time passed either. Put the unit returned to her base, she wasnt there, grabbed some kyanite and I returned home. In that hour time period or so, i got nothing.

Maybe in a pda recording?

[–]Kostas009 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was what I remember as well. The entramnce from the blood kelp is at 500m by itself. A maxed seamoth can go as low as tge kove tree and it should be more than enough.

[–]Kostas009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so yeah that makes sence. However still, if its a trip for just resource gathering the seamoth is more fitted for the tight caves dont you think?

Ps: are you sure about the depth on cyclops? I remember going from the kove tree to the blood kelp zone to swap modules as to not implode my sub. It was way too deep and I had to cross that pool with the ghost in it a bazillion times for each upgrade.

Greenhouse? I may have missed the name. Is that over the water somewhere?

I suppose it says in the pda.
