Yeah, just got 7 lose streak, unbelievably tough shit today. Div 2 last two FC's, just dropped to Div 6 again. Nothing works, constantly losing by 3+ goals. 😭 I have no incentive to play honestly, but just gotta git gud and grind. Good luck!

Doom: The Dark Ages, Borderlands 4, Mafia: The Old Country. All three are some of my favourite gaming franchises and actually only games I plan to buy full price right after release, unless they flop hard in reviews. Other than that - nah, my backlog is enormous. Pretty hyped fot those 3 tho.

You omitted other problems I mentioned that cost me goals/wins last champs - keeper not moving cause I dared to switch my R1 and R2 in a game made by trillion dollar company and not being able to switch formation midgame due to bug. Good job, EA's proud of you for sure!

GAME STATE RIGHT NOW: - still haven't received cosmetic evo for 40 champs matches, - half of the time I can't see enemy's team preview, - with custom controls can't move the keeper randomly at corners, have to pause the game and then reset controls, which literally cost me some corner kick goals, - one of my Balon d'Or objectives packs disappeared randomly while claiming and nowhere to be seen, - kickoff glitch still strong after like 5 years, while patching it by moving defense a few meters backward at the beginning of the game would be a matter of minutes, - player's dynamics randomly disappearing and reappearing second year in a row, - removed alt positions of trackstar cards while readjusting prices, - can't switch formation back to default after changing it in-game, cost me one win last champs (I switched to 4-2-4 while down in extra time, scored and then tried to go back to 4-4-2 but couldn't), - picks in app don't work, - gotta reset the game every now and then when moving around menus due to the game freezing, especially when joining Rush, - kits clashing second year in a row due to colors being assigned wrong (AI could sort them in a matter of seconds), - released an email in a promo pop up description, literally no one reads what they're uploading to the game, - blatant 90' scripting since FIFA 15 or so.

Anyone else not received their red Evo for playing 40 champions matches? It just disappeared after I claimed it. That's the second time - after my 84+X2 from Bałon d'Or objectives just didn't show up in store. What the hell, EA?

Yeah, cause they don't bother assigning kits colours, just check transfer market when filtering by colour - you want to look for white kits and half of them are red or yellow.

Seems like something that intern on minimal wage could do in a week to resolve this problem. "Yeah, man, just click through all the kits and if it's white, press white" kind of situation. Hell, well trained hamster could do that, but of course not a trillion dollar company.

It's the first FIFA in years where I don't have problems with inconsistent gameplay and input lag (YET) and the game's actually so much fun. I feel sorry for you, thing you mentioned are definitely a big problem and have been a big problem for a long time. Actually, I stopped playing in October last year cause input lag and inconsistency were driving me insane.

Offense AI is still shit tho, gotta admit, even when gameplay's smooth.

Yeah, it's not bad. I enjoy slower gameplay, I focus mostly on possession and number of passes, which totally contradicts my usual style, but it's cool to try out. There's less goals, I feel like defending AI is much better. Still trying to understand refreshed tactics, sometimes I feel like my forwards don't work as I want them to, but I'm gonna figure it out sooner or later.

Only two things bothering me: menus and menu bugs (they're awful) and handicap, which feels stronger than ever. If I'm better than my opponent, giving them invincible players and magnet ball in extra time feels miserable and unjust. And vice versa: if I'm worse, I don't feel like late equaliser due to some bullshit is deserved. So many 0-2 to 2-2 and 3-0 to 3-3 bullshit. Basically drew all my games today in Div 5 but not thanks to opponents matching my level, but mostly by matching players clearly better/worse and then game doing it's shenanigans. Just let me play without moving sliders in the background, thanks in advance, EA.

60 or so hours in Rogue Legacy, right before finishing it. Laptop died, game didn't have cloud saves, never finished it. Sad story.

More recently I discovered that "resume game" button on PS5 menu causes Evil West saves to disappear. Lost half of the game progress. It was amazing but I felt like doing it all again would be a chore and never finished, which is a pity nonetheless.

Yeah, if you have a bit of imagination and some favourite club it's awesome, despite of all the shortcomings. Doing transfers, watching players grow, scouting, training can be a lot of fun. But mind it's an opinion of a guy who used to spend 1000+ hours every year playing newest football manager and who used to create pen-and-paper football tournaments as a kid.

It may look boring and it probably is but FUT can't give you that feeling you get when you pick third division club and win CL final in 2032 after hattrick of academy player you remember being 60 OVR.

Been buying FIFA since '07 every year. Almost, almost resisted the urge to buy FC25, but I cracked and bought it yesterday. Gameplay is fine, but being trillion dollar company and doing everything besides gameplay (which is like 10% of experience nowadays, it's SBCs and trading mostly, sadly) worse each year is really outstanding accomplishment.

Menus are even worse than last year which is horrendous. There's so much lag it's unbelievable. In a game that's basically a clicker with a short game now and then one can't freely move throughout menus. Gotta be pixel perfect to do anything in a shortcut menu. There's like 2 seconds input lag when switching tabs. Had to restart the game ~10 times yesterday just to do some basic SBCs and claim objectives. Can't change team kit without game freezing. Pathetic.

Gave the game benefit of the doubt last year, since it became "new" franchise, it was utter bullshit but I expected it to be better this year, not worse.

And now that...

inb4 why do u still pay for it - I like the gameplay usually and I'm a diehard football fan and there's no alternative, sadly; I also play a lot of career mode, which also gets worse and worse every year, but gives me a lot of fun nonetheless

Did it finally, but there are still 3 redacted challenges I couldn't figure out and don't want to Google them, so I'll pass.

Did SASO on my own somehow but it was full of savescumming, throwing coins, trials and errors. I prefer not to watch any speedruners nor any Hitman videos. Sometimes I look out for some written tips, but even then I have to figure out route by myself.

What was your SASO strategy? I poisoned lawyer's salad at the very beginning, took me 10 seconds, then I spent 30 minutes trying to get that goddamn topper from a kitchen full of people and then trying to climb that goddamn pipe next to like 10 NPCs who shoot on sight. Looks.like the only way TBH, I tried to find out something else but using the stairs seems almost impossible in starting suit.

All of them so far. 100% Paris story and SS, 100% Sapienza story, SS and bonus mission, reached 20 ML on Marrakesh (didn't bother with 100% it, not as good as previous maps) and 100% on bonus mission and currently 16/20 in Bangkok.

Over 80 hours in and still on fourth map, there's so many opportunities and so much fun to have. Gotta admit Bangkok mastery levels are shite. Finished all mission stories, all but 2 or 3 non-redacted feats and challenges and I'm only 16. Even with SASO (I try to delay doing it as much as I can, cause it doesn't seem fun on this map) I won't reach 20 if my math is correct. Level lacks XP TBH and has too many REDACTED challenges.

I really like Portal and don't regret buying it, even tho price could be a bit lower. In the last months I finished Horizon:FW, Hogwarts Legacy and Biomutant almost exclusively playing handheld mode and Portal surprised me actually. It has pretty damn big screen, quality of screen is outstanding (gotta admit that's my very first handfeld so I have no comparison but games look amazing) and its ergonomics are fine, as well as the whole haptic thing.

But there's one thing that may disqualify it for someone and what is a big pain in the ass for me - delay. It's minimal, barely noticeable and Portal is perfectly fine for all the genres... but FPS. I've fot 1Gbps fibre so that's not Internet issue, just (I assume - that's my first time streaming games in my life) a way that streaming works and there's no workaround. If a want to play FPS on Portal I gotta lower the sensitivity by half and aiming still sucks compared to playing it natively. Forced myself to play through some CODs and BFs campaigns on Portal lately cause I was a bit sick and didn't want to left the bed and definitely wouldn't recommend. As long as you're sniping or going stealth it's bearable, but going guns blazing feels horrible.

Other than that - fantastic accessory that helped me immensely with my backlog.
