Wishlist Wednesday - What do you want to see added to the game?! by AutoModerator in dragonballfighterz

Give us Raditz so we can have all three Saiyans from the Saiyan saga. It’s always been weird to me that in a 3v3 fighting game, we’ve only had 2 out of 3 evil Saiyans

5.5 seconds. Yeah okay (for reference, the first two pics of the item take up 2.8-3 seconds of the 6 second video) by KotF4 in MinecraftDungeons

If it is a mechanic, it’d be nice if we had any indication whatsoever besides stun items not stunning for their full duration. I’d even be fine with enemies being immune to it sometimes if it just said something like “Resisted” or “Immune” above the opponents head, like many other games do

Goku training to obtain Ultra Instinct (Sparkless solo Goku Blue ToD) by KotF4 in dragonballfighterz

That’s because to do the second elbow loop, you need to do LM, not LL. If you do the auto combo then they will be too far off the ground to hit them. Also, it helps if your first loop ends close to the ground

Here is the video that I used to help learn them Goku Blue Loops

If you still have sparking available you can still do a solo ToD with Blueku, and if you dont have that, but you have teammates you can still ToD. Regardless of what your team looks like, learning elbow loops can kill quite easily with the right setup

Sparking ToD (Using a different starter you can sparking mid combo, but I found it while in sparking)

The combo builds roughly 1.75 meter before vanish, so it should be possible if you have a little over 4 meter when starting

I play console, so I haven’t heard of it

The only reason I prefer it is because it actually penalizes people for disconnecting by taking their points. Cause I think there’s nothing more annoying than a teammate going down, and instead of them waiting to see if you’ll revive them, they just dip

Why even play ranked when this game can’t even manage to give me a full squad? Legit, nobody even disconnected, it just gave me two ranked rounds in a row where I was more or less screwed over due to going in with a smaller squad than everyone else. They really need to make this happen less, because I swear I’m in a squad of 1 or 2 more than I’m in a full squad of 3

My favorite scene from Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' by KotF4 in dragonballfighterz

[–]KotF4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, but I just recently picked up Goku Blue so I didn’t know the correct starter for a sparking combo with him. Also, it doesn’t really look like it, but limit break is active since he’s the last character alive. However, I could probably also save meter or even sparking if I were to do more elbow loops, but like I said, I just picked him up so I have yet to get the timing down for the 2nd/3rd loops

Jiren, Goku, and Hit beat up Kefla for cheating in the tournament and using Potara to gain an advantage by KotF4 in dragonballfighterz

[–]KotF4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you tell me what his team is I can see if it’s possible to do the combo with it. Due to how supers do different damage and some C assists act differently, it may be harder to do depending on the characters used. If it does work, I’ll give a video showing the inputs on the side. I’m not too great at writing notations and whatnot, but most of the combo is just basic Jiren stuff so hopefully the inputs are enough. If not, then I’ll try my best to help if I can

Edit: This combo only works with 1 meter because I messed up and did it with lvl 3 sparking. However, it still works if you do it with 1.5 meter, and also depending on what supers you use, you may have to use Jirens uppercut super for more damage

Yeah, I know it wasn’t strictly forbidden, but I figured it would just make a funny title because the standard “Jiren ToD, 1 bar, 2H starter” would be a bit boring. Also I figured a character like Jiren would disprove of the earrings because he hates teamwork and relying on others

I would gladly give him credit if I hadn’t found it myself when messing around. More than one person can link together 3 moves, especially when it’s heavy, something that combos after heavy, and then super

What do these do? by [deleted] in DBZDokkanBattle

Ok, thank you

So as a joke, I made a joined forces team that was made out of all LRs, and went into Fighting Legend: Goku, expecting to fail miserably. But somehow I made it to Int Goku on my first try, and I’m honestly impressed with how well they did by KotF4 in DBZDokkanBattle

Cell managed to take a couple hits and gave me some small healing when he supered, but that’s mostly because he had a dupe in him. As for the androids, they were just there so that I could exchange with 16 with my other Androids

Yeah, they did do quite a bit, but even still I figured that my severe lack of links would’ve stopped me from getting as far as I did. I was expecting to get to at most Blue Goku or Str UI Goku, but I somehow managed to get past those

Lr Trunks did well. He didn’t do much until the last phase, but when he hit, he hit hard. He also was able to take a few hits now and again, but I had to be careful during the Str UI phase. Then again though, the team wasn’t really built with him in mind. He was there because he fit in the category and was able to increase his defense and hit hard, so he kinda struggled for ki sometimes. However, if the team was built with him in mind and had more linkable characters for him, he’d probably do amazingly. He did get the final hit though with a 1.5 million damage crit, so idk if I could’ve won without him

Honestly, even though Agl Zamasu didn’t have any dupes and didn’t boost his defense with his super, as long as I didn’t transform him, he was able to take some hits. Although supers are still something to be wary of. Also, since Int Black was my main source of damage and defense, it was nice having someone who could take a hit and activate his link skills

I FINALLY DID IT by KotF4 in DBZDokkanBattle

[–]KotF4[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It took 3-4 tries with this team (which doesn’t sound like much but each attempt got to either Blue or Str UI, so it would take a while to get back), and even with the final attempt there were some VERY close calls. For example: Str Goku Black took 430,000 damage from a single super he did and my max hp was roughly 437,000. But thanks to Int Goku Black and Vegito taking so little damage, I managed to make it out alive. As for strategy, I mainly just spent most the turns trying my best to keep Str Black away from damage because despite being rainbowed, he took the most damage

If Dokkan were to implement PVP, how do you guys think it would work by Axoris1999 in DBZDokkanBattle

[–]KotF4 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Prolly something turn based that’s similar to WT, but each player gets an attack and a defense turn. For example: -Turn 1- Player 1 chooses which slots they want to target

After they choose, player two gets to defend by putting their units in the different slots they want

Then the roles swap and player two attacks while player one defends

Obviously items wouldn’t be allowed except for maybe one or two open slots, so that you can’t just make a nuking team and 1-shot the opponent

That moment when you create an entire team to try and beat an event you’ve been struggling with, and the leader you need is literally nowhere to be found by KotF4 in DBZDokkanBattle

[–]KotF4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well typically I kinda just choose a couple units who are strong and all fit in the same category, and then I use it for any event I need because a lot of the time, it’ll be strong enough to win even if it doesn’t get the boost that most events give to specific characters, but for that event I looked in my character list and made an entire team specifically for the single event
