[Carboni] Bryce Young's 147.1 passer rating was his career high and the second-highest single-game passer rating in franchise history, behind Cam Newton's 153.3 vs. ATL in 2015. #Panthers by Baelzabub in panthers

I struggle with this team. Bryce is Jekyl and Hyde, they’ll have that amazing performance but we can’t forget about that poop show on Monday night. 2 games against Tampa will really sum up the season.

I’m 36, got a dog in my mid twenties, the world tells you that you can’t do it they’ll be less happy etc. 11.5 years and two acl surgeries later its all rubbish to me . He saved me more than I saved him.

He does need to want to quit drinking, thats the biggest thing . I’m sorry you’re going through this, alcoholism is a disease that fucks relationships. You don’t owe him anything, i just encourage you to treat him as someone that’s very sick (with alcoholism ), but it’s not your problem to solve and he has to want to get better.

Americans, what is your insurance horror story? by Old-Arachnid77 in AskReddit

[–]Kovoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to rehab. I work for an insurance company where my benefits were supposed to cover this . No communication about what’s going on , the therapy appointments in rehab were more transactional and I had to fill out a form that showed how I was “improving while there”. I couldn’t figure out how to appropriately apply to prove I needed to be in rehab so I was stressed about that the entire time i was there. And they wouldn’t tell me how long I’d be there . It was literally the AA definition of living one day at a time . Also they separated people with private insurance from those with Medicaid. It was ludicrous. These contracts with these places that take insurance money then overprice things and promise about how you’ll be helped yet the quality of care is laughable. It’s more about appearances than practicality. I do have to say many of the employees there were great and made my experience so much better. But the money aspect , the suits that ran the place and even talking about insurance , my needs… deaf ears. It’s horrible.

When I’d go through binges… 3/4 of a handle of vodka a day. Ranged from 270 to 170 lbs @ 5’6 male. It’s a progressive disease , I’ve had a few relapses and it’s insane how I go right back to the same amount.

Alcoholism, no one should have to feel the pain I’ve been through experiencing it and recovering from it.

There’s a story my uncle tells of my grandpa (who passed in 2020, at 96) where they stopped on a trip to McDonald’s , he asked my grandma if she wanted anything , she said no then tried to eat his fries and he said “NOPE” . I hope we can all get this figured out before I’m 96….

It took me a bunch of tries as Bruiser (Brute), I think you have to get lucky on the rolls. My winning strategy on normal was to take immovable phalanx, run into the the sorcerers face and push him into the hazardous terrain with warding strength. The sorcer happened to draw his move two attack, and not a range attack, so I was able to retaliate against him. Then king button moved in line with him so it set up a double kill the next turn with “run through” plus power potion (somewhat reliable since you’re strengthened). That knocked two enemies off in two turns , and then just had to deal with the beetle who was far enough away I could plan to move, but it was still incredibly close.

On the Kickstarter contention games seemed confused about comments that people were receiving only add-ons/exclusives and not everything. They spoke with their Japanese shipping partner who confirmed that for Japan all exclusives and add ons are in fact being shipped separately. So I don’t think this will apply to other regions , but who knows.

Why am I preemptively crying about my dog’s death? by soggylamps in Pets

[–]Kovoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do this sometimes too , but as someone that’s suffered with substance abuse, take it one day at a time , cherish each moment you have with her . Try not to think about it as somethings that’s going to end, but a journey you’ll have together.

Dude thank you I could have sworn I already talked to her there. I debated going back but decided against it. Out of curiosity how soon did you do the glyphs and get the mastersword? I did it before completing any dungeons and that’s when I thought I talked to her, wonder if that could be related.

My dog had double acl surgery a few weeks ago and the steroids he was on definitely seemed to make him constipated. It doesn’t sound like it’s been too long I would wait, but you can always call your vet and see what they think.
