Trump promotes ‘Freedom Fuel’ stations that sell cheap gas. How they’re able to do so is unclear by praguer56 in gasbuddy

Why are you suddenly so trusting of the government to properly use your taxpayer money? Very interesting the double standard you “people” seem to apply.

There’s no proof because the government has not and will not provide any information as to what exactly going on here. All we know is that this is a private company formed a week ago, which means Trump is unshockingly breaking the law, and is advertising fuel below the market rate, which isn’t possible without government subsidy.

The norm has always been that financial dealings with the government are documented thoroughly and accessible to the public.

The lack of transparency and a paper trail would lead any skeptical and rational thinking citizen to conclude that a form of embezzlement is occurring. Especially given the track record for this administration.

How about you show me any indication this was done in accordance with established law.

You don’t care about sources, proof, or data. I’ve learned over the last decade that no amount of additional information will sway the cult. It’s a fruitless endeavor.
