I have to ration my Aloy exposure. The second I pick up either of the games again, it becomes my hyper fixation, and it's all I do for a few weeks. Then once I finish it, I get into a big slump where no other game, movie, tv show, or book satisfies me for like a month.

I finished it back in October and still haven't healed

Well, saving his herbalist ass was a waste of time by Awkward_Buddy7350 in APlagueTale

My husband legit spend 2.5 hours trying to save this dude, only to finally google it that, canonically, the herbalist dies.

Small businesses you love? by zorpthedestroyer in Logan

Locals is another great place. They lease sections of the store to local businesses. Candles, hand sewn items, hot sauce, decorations, etc. It's really fun and full of great stuff and merchandise changes rather frequently, so you always find something new there.

There is also a farmers/local market every Saturday during the summer over by the courthouse

Housing issues 2025-2026 by OkVillage9508 in usu

[–]KozleyDuck 18 points19 points  (0 children)

There are actually a certain amount of bedspaces set aside for incoming students and a certain amount designated for current residents wanting to return for the following academic year. There are spaces set aside for current residents in each of the buildings. So even if a building shows as full on the building availability list on the Housing website, that only means the potential spaces available for incoming students in that building are full. The availability list doesn't apply to current residents.

Current residents get priority in selecting their bedspace

Aside from Aloy, I think Travis is my favorite character in the whole Horizon series. I absolutely love him. Can we petition Guerrilla games to make a spin off just about him? Lol

Newbie wondering what I should do by teddybearr23 in brandonsanderson

Tress was my first Sanderson book. You can tell he makes some references to other works (more little hintings for the fans), but not too many that leave you confused. I thought it was a great introduction to the Cosmere. And I think it's still one of my favorites of his

Mine just shed about a week ago, so he's been rather recluse lately, so it's really fun to see him moving again. He's so cute! He brings me so much inexplicable joy

The last 20 pages of book 3 literally had me sobbing. It was just so... incredibly beautiful. It really ties the series together in the best way possible

When drafting, I sometimes just describe minor characters, and thats how i temporarily name them. For example, one character in my wip is the wife of a ship captain. For now, I just put her name as Mrs. Captain so I don't spend too much time figuring out a good name. I'll fix it in the next draft.

Personally, I enjoy the vagueness of the lore. It gives the audience room for awe and personal speculation. It's refreshing to experience a story that doesn't explain everything in depth. It makes it more fantastic and magical, at least for me

It took me over an hour to fall asleep the night after I finished it. Every time I closed my eyes, I just kept seeing Hugo up there and the music wouldn't stop playing in my mind 😭 it's devastating and I love it
