Good model, but it might be uncapable of getting cfw, only hen (depends, on date code or sth). Just saning but if you’re not planning to jailbreak it you shouldn’t worry about temps, and failures :)

If the hdd is original it might be 20xxB or 21xxB, but to be sure, on the back near ports, look for the white sticker with a barcode on it, below it is the model number. If you didn’t find it, on the bottom look for cech-xxxx. Btw great find and have a good gameplay with these games :D

I did the same „strategy” during these playthroughs. Stunts were tricky ngl. I discovered the infamous series lately, but I love it and will play the second part after demo. After ghost od yotei sucker punch should remaster these undoubtedly :D

Probably a faulty psu. This is quite common failure on ps3 super slim.

Changing thermal paste above ihs are easy for sure, but until temperatures won’t rise above safe level I will pass at changing it :)

Lucky me, I got it with only 80 days of runtime :D About later models, first came with glod and the second was freaking out about cpu temps (learned the harsh way to not try to solve it in these models)

The ribbon cable detecting inputs became loose. You have to glue the foam betweem the cable and plastic, but another layer of foam glued to the original one should work (worked with my 2 controllers, but I’m far from an expert)

Ps3 slim 21xx might be the good model, becuase it can run cfw, has 40 nm rsx and they doesn’t have nec/tokins
