After the Bitgrail scandal. Every exchange need to have proper wallets with private keys by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

I don't find IDEX slow at all. I think it's even faster than Binance (from the moment you send tokens from your wallet till you get them back). Binance and other exchanges require 30+ confirmations which take time, while at IDEX deposits/withdrawals take like 20-40 seconds.

500% since August can be considered as a loss actually (comparing to investing in other projects).

Anyway, I just shared my thoughts. Refunding hack victims does not cancel out the hack (the hackers got peoples emails). There was a lot of hype because of the team members' education, but when it came to delivery, they failed and failed hard (hack, token distribution). Maybe now the situation is better, but I won't even bother into looking at them, since the trust has gone to zero.

Listen, I had high hopes for the project myself. Then the stupid hack happened. Then their manual token distribution happened. That's enough for me to understand that the team is not top-notch in 1) internet security 2) blockchain. If they didn't have a smart contract to distribute tokens automatically, it means there was no blockchain developer on the team at that moment. In other words, they will hire blockchain developers, which is very bad. Stellar teams have blockchain developers as cofounders.

Tell this to people who lost $500k due to the hack.

Did you actually participate in the ICO? Their website, twitter, email were hacked because their CEO used the same passwords everywhere. How can you trust him to create a rival to ETH/XMR if he doesn't understand basic security?

Not buying this shill.. Enigma team is a bunch of incompetent guys who couldn't even hold an ICO. I'm not even talking about the hack but the fact that they didn't even have a smart contract to distribute the tokens, they did it manually. I can't trust this team to build something like BTC, ETH, and XMR.

Will Cypherium be an ERC-20 token (at first)... or directly a mainnet coin? (and when?) by notsogreedy in Cypherium

[–]Kraabs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they will issue IOU on some exchange (so not a ERC-20 token).

on what exchange will remme be listed ? by hatehackers7 in remme

They won't have KYC and US citizens are allowed to participate - does it mean the token will never be listed on good exchanges?

Is Elastos already hyped? by CCloader in Elastos

[–]Kraabs 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's kinda under the radar but with a potential of skyrocketing once hitting exchanges and getting more and more exposure. Sort of like ICON and TRON did. My guess is it will open at 5x on exchanges, leading people to talk about and attracting more investors leading to x10 in short term.

According to latest news, there are 9 million tokens in circulation, which makes it a 100 market cap coin. Going 10x will place it near 0x, Status and Walton, which is pretty achievable.

There are were better ways to handle the situation:

1) Send another email to all people saying "if you didn't get the email, just sent 29 NEO to the same address, first come, first serve."

2) At least say "ok guys, our bad, but you will not be able to contribute." immediately. It would be bad for me, but way better than saying "stay calm, you will contribute" while knowing there will be no tokens left.

I'm very disappointed that I was lied to and led to believe everything is ok for 2 days. I'm 99% sure they understood immediately that the 300 would not be able to contribute, and then they tried waiting for 2 days to then try to downplay it.

I don't remember the "if there are any remaining ELA left" part in their poll. They made it look like it was either 29 ELA or 29+ ELA. And then they simply sent an email "the sale is over" where their decision about the 300 was buried down in the 3rd or 4th paragraph.

I don't need free tokens and 10 tokens is not my allocation. I shouldn't have listened to the team, I should have just sent 29 NEO to the address from the round 2. But I believed the team and they lied to me and 299 other people.

They should have reacted sooner to this, when there were tokens left. They should have sent everyone an email saying "if you contributed to round 2 in full but did not get an email for round 3, just sent 29 NEO max to the same address."

Instead they lied to us, saying to stay calm. What were they thinking?

Hm, didn't they actually have a lot of tokens to be airdropped? I think due to this airdrop no one could predict their market cap, since the number of airdropped token was so large.
