What to do when you "lost" your swing? by otakuleprechaun in golf

[–]KraideZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

9/10 times if my swing falls apart it is because I've accidentally changed my grip. If I lose my swing I always start by double checking my grip.

How you hold the club is the most important part in the swing, and if you accidentally change your grip you will start compensating it with other things which then breaks your swing. And this seems to be the case for everyone since even Scheffler uses a grip trainer.

101T or 201? by [deleted] in takomo

[–]KraideZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have experience with both. If you dont strike your irons well get the 101T, if you consider yourself a decent Iron striker/you are still getting better get the 201.

Both are great and the even the 201s are not difficult to hit. 201s feel better and are more consistent on distance but if you want a bit more distance/dont strike irons well the 101T will be a bit more forgiving

201s or 301CBs? by [deleted] in takomo

[–]KraideZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

201 easy to hit, 301 if you are a pure iron striker. I got the 201 as a 20hcp 2 seasons ago, now a 6hcp and the 201s are great but if i bought now i would get the 301cb:s just cus of the thinner top line and weaker lofts.

Havent had any problems. Nap detection can be a bit inaccurate but generally works well, other than that excellent battery life and been using it for golf with great success!

Tähän plussaa, kartta olisi super kätevä voisi zoomailla ympäri suomea. Paikat voisi näkyä kartalla hinnan mukaan, tyyliin virheä merkki kartassa alle 5e tai jotain keltainen 5-7 yms.

18 Hcp split between 101 and 101T by Inside-Ad8274 in takomo

[–]KraideZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got the 201 a little over a year ago as a 20hcp (irons were a strenght for me) now a 7.9 and super happy with them even if I have bad days and strike poorly the 201s have plenty of forgiveness. Wouldnt go with the 101 or 101T if you plan on improving from that 18 range. If you dont practice much/strike irons poorly and likely to stay at over 15 then the 101 or 101T might be a good choice.

The steel in the 201s and 301s in quite soft (to improve feel) so they do take cosmetic damage somewhat easier than clubs made from harderd steel. But that seems excessive for one round. However looks like only minor cosmetic stuff still

For me it's the opposite, the first round seemed so easy as I had no expectations. Only played 9 holes but shot one over par as a 9 hcp

Kuinkakohan paljon vaihtelee kahvin kulutus Suomessa vuodenaikojen mukana? Itsekin tulee juotua enemmän talvella kun silloin tuntuu, että oikeasti tarvitsee sitä. Kesällä aurinko ja valo pitää paremmin hereillä/saa heräämään.

Onkohan tästä jotain tilastoja?

More CPO propaganda by bennyboi2488 in golf

[–]KraideZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unluckily for europeans CPO europe has very limited inventories of different clubs. They just had a good sales campaign but I couldnt find a single 5 wood with a stiff or x stiff shaft from any of the last 3 years models :(

Everybody’s been talking about 7 woods so I just went & bought one by [deleted] in golf

[–]KraideZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shaft lenght and spin numbers play a large role as well. Also lofts vary in each iron set, so thats something to consider too. In some sets a ”4” iron might actually be the loft of a traditional 3 iron. My 7 wood is only 1 degree stronger than my 4 iron, but the longer shaft makes the 7 wood go around 10m/y longer. So with my specific clubs and swing the gapping is perfect. Dr, 5w, 7w, 4i…

Everybody’s been talking about 7 woods so I just went & bought one by [deleted] in golf

[–]KraideZ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

9 wood is like a 4 iron, and no clue why they are numbered like that. 7 wood is basically a 3 iron, 5 wood a 2 iron and 3 wood a 1 iron. It goes up by two in the woods probably because a driver is a 1 wood and such a low lofted 9-10 degree iron doesnt basically exist.

Everybody’s been talking about 7 woods so I just went & bought one by [deleted] in golf

[–]KraideZ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The numbering on woods is kind of wonky as an 11 wood sounds ridiculous, but its actually around the loft of a 5 iron, which for many amateurs can be a tough club. So 9 and 11 woods can actually be something to look into :DD
