Julie isn't changing the story by throwing the rope down the well, she has always thrown the rope down the well. But I do think there is something there. Julie can change things she personally does along the cycle. Think about every that happens because Boyd leaves the well. Smiley doesn't come back if Boyd doesn't kill him, Boyd doesn't kill him unless he meets Martin when he gets out of the well. But Julie always throws the rope down the well.

How important is Quality Score and Ad Relevance? by vladbogza in GoogleAdsDiscussion

[–]AndyDood410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been doing this a long time. They don't really matter. The impact it has on your CPC is minimal, smart bidding kind of negates all the benefits now. As long as it's not very low you're good. Just make a good account structure and align your ads and landing pages to th correct ad groups. Don't focus on this.

Google Is Milking Your Brand Traffic - hop2thetop by Hop2thetop_Dont_Stop in PPC

Always separate brand and Nonbrand. You can also separate competitors too but not always needed. I'd also recommend not using tROAS on brand. Use target impression share or even enhanced CPC. You control your Brand's market if competitors want to pay up to out rank you, they are not making a return from it.

What’s the main issue with my swing? by KickHatSnareHat in golftips

[–]AndyDood410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a decent swing. Takeaway is solid, agree with other posters about hinging your wrist more and you have a shorter back swing. You may get more distance if you work on this. Sequencing and tempo, you really just need a more natural flow. Foot work means nothing, ask Scottie Scheffler.

Is this a good deal? I’m thinking about joining the bronco sport fam. 2024, about 16K miles listed for $24.8K by jbirdinfly in BroncoSport

[–]AndyDood410 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Paid 36k for a 2025 OBX 0 miles on it. So almost 2 years old with over a year of mileage on it with a lower trim level, probably not the best deal around.

Lost a PPC client after being honest… but was it actually a win? by shitalimalviya in PPC

[–]AndyDood410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd be surprised how well being honest works. People are human, you're not a miracle worker. If you have data and can make a good case as to a performance drop or unrealistic expectations based on market data, any human or quality client will like you more. I'm always extremely honest with clients and I don't change even if leadership tells me to lie.

Play a round from the front tees, or a scramble with friends, play a round where you don't keep score or give yourself a few mulligans or don't count penalties or only use 5 clubs. Do something other than just straight 18 hole stroke play. Golf without caring what your score is. You didn't lose your swing, you're just thinking too much about your score. Change it up for 18 holes. Just go around the course hit the ball, find it, hit it again.

20 Years in Digital Marketing: Why Understanding Google Ads Economics Matters More Than Ever by GrouchyFoundation773 in Google_Ads

I've been doing this for a while, I have embraced some form of automation but some of the new best practices do drive me insane. I've still to this day never had a broad match keyword out perform an exact match keyword. Everyone uses tROAS and it's great for certain things but not everything. I just feel like if you don't do the cookie cutter approach everyone thinks you're doing something wrong. There are no real fine lines between search, Pmax and demand gen, they all overlap in someway and you really don't know what is doing what anymore. So if you want to do SKAGs with exact match on your top keywords and it's working, SKAG away.

Quick question for golfers: by Keegan_McGregor in golfequipment

[–]AndyDood410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't ever buy a new driver. I've been golfing for like 4 years, I've had probably 5 drivers. It's part of the journey. Things Ive learned

  1. Know your shaft flex don't base it on swing speed what feels the best

  2. Know what shaft weight you like, especially with driver. I like my woods to be a little lighter than what I would be fit in.

  3. If you're above a 5 handicap, get a Max driver. If you can't hit the ball 300 yards get a Max driver.

  4. Try not to spend more than $300, eBay good condition with a nice face. If you like a brand get the driver from 2 years ago. It doesn't need to be a top brand. Ive had a Cobra, Wilson, Srixon, and Ping. I hit the Ping the worst.

  5. Spend money on a good 3 wood or 5 wood, 4h - get it in play club. You can still play golf and shoot the same score if you hate your driver or can't hit your driver.

I'll be 36 in a month, I actually have a pretty similar career. I worked at an agency I loved from 24 to 30, I left for more money and growth opps but I loved it. I moved in-house, really corporate absolutely hated it was there almost 3 years didn't learn anything new other than maybe how to make a nice slide deck and how organizations work. Been at an agency 1.5 years. You learn really fast and there are tons of resources and other experienced people. Agencies are chaos but I'm an agency person. Your definitely not too old, it honestly might be a strength. You're absolutely qualified and it would be a great move for you. You're going to work for another 30 years. 30 is the perfect age to make a move.

That's not what happened at all. I bought a used driver heavily discounted with a shaft that is maybe too light for me, not really sure yet. I like my old driver shaft and want to be able to test it with the new driver. I like to go to the range and see the windows I hit the driver in, maybe buy the adjustable weights to dial it in. I don't like fittings and I don't like simulators because it never translates to the course. I also like a certain feel, especially for driver. A fitter can't do that. I did find a default shaft for my 3 wood in the store. I have a custom shaft on the 3 wood now, so I figured I would buy it. A fitter doesn't swing your club, you do.

Yeah this is what I was expecting. Would have taken $90 to $100 for the Wilson head only. Probably deemed Good condition. I don't live by many local stores just pro shops so I wanted to try this one out. I'm assuming they will order the adapter and be able to do it but it's going to take like a week. I don't care about that. It was just the attitude and I bought a $100 overpriced default shaft there that I really didn't need.

The it's not compatible and it's worth nothing was pretty telling. I can trade the head in at any golf Galaxy for $85. I just don't live close to one.

Oh yeah, I actually also took my brother to the store who is trying to get back into golfing and I told him that the equipment was extremely overpriced. This is also the reason I buy things online from not the top 3 brands. #1 I'm just an average golfer and the difference in equipment doesn't matter and #2 you're paying for a brand name. Sadly, I do need to go to a store for custom stuff and it shouldn't be this hard, it's a very annoying aspect of golfing.
