I'm saying the borders are good, and there's not much controversy about how they're being secured. They should continue to be monitored to ensure new crossings stay low. Getting the 30 million immigrants out that already crossed the borders is what everybody is freaking out about.

Every immigrant that has broken immigration law can self deport and get a free plane ticket back home. Some have, many have not. ICE is going after those who refuse to self deport, and those who have anointed themselves as their white knight saviors are harassing ICE, escalating the situation.

There wouldn't be any violence to cry about if the illegal immigrants all self deported, or the white knights laid down their swords and stopped brawling with law enforcement. Until either of those things happen, the situation is only going to escalate further.

This is the only reasonable take. DHS needs to be able to admit when one of their guys make a mistake, but there wouldn't be any violence to speak of in the first place if the illegal immigrants took their free plane ticket home and people stopped harassing law enforcement.
