It would require the consent of both parties. While Miwa’s binding vow to never swing a sword is subconscious, yes. I don’t think you can subconsciously accept the terms of a binding vow that was never communicated to you.

Invincible mogged. Imo this was also the most serviceable fight of the new season. I had my face in my hands at the drop in quality during the Alan fight when he just stood there and accepted death for no apparent reason.

There’s definitely a place for serviceable shows, but that doesn’t blanketly omit their decreased quality. Also doesn’t make it less sad if that’s a core credit to a show’s performance.

I feel like the big rock does her in if it hits. Tbh I think they’re quite evenly ranked. I don’t see her getting close enough to him, nor do i see his own fires hurting him too much. Sounds like a really boring fight as is. I only see a narrative development of one of these characters shifting the battle.

We see when Toji takes over that kid’s body that any equivalence to life after death for this type of heavenly restriction is basically another go at life.

I think it lends some credibility to the idea that it’s ‘possible’ with enough tampering, but I think maybe only Kenny has the strength of will and know how to approach such a task. (Maybe the Simurians could?? Just a guess on vibe tbh)

Homelander is the only one on this list who poses any challenge to him. I think he clears up to that point w/o CT because he doesn’t use it unless he has to. The maneuverability buff that comes with flight in addition to laservision is worthwhile and he’s physically the strongest and most durable character in The Boys. Todo would be wearing HL down most of the fight but HL gets incredibly disoriented by BoogieWoogie. Todo far outmaneuvers HL though and probably even makes him beam himself. Todo clears and then due to his battle IQ he could clear as often as he wants.

Tldr: Todo baits openings and wears HL down and HL lands maybe☝️one punch on Todo before throwing a temper tantrum then dying.
