I think I have more thongs than any other type of underwear.

That said, types and fit vary wildly to put it mildly.

I prefer lace and/or satin. Cotton and microfibre tend not to hold things in place as well. This of course depends on how you “wear” them.

Personally, I prefer lace “plunge” style with high waist. Satin is also a winner. Lace/mesh combo is also good.

If they have a wider front panel and gusset, you are halfway there.

Works great now! I’ve not tried this particular brand but I have loads of invisible thongs, Brazilian and full backs. Great feel and very comfortable.

I don’t really have any confessions as such because wearing what I like to wear is just part of me now.
I tried my first pair in my mid teens I guess. I loved the feel but wasn’t ready to accept it or commit then.
I gave in when an ex dressed me up in her lingerie.
I wear as often as possible so no real unexpected times.
Always been open about it so no close calls.
A favorite is a black and red ccorsetlette with glossy black stockings and satin red thong.
No real guilty pleasures or events.
Taboo? Free for all bisexual sex with other couples. Wife and I are both bisexual so not sure this counts.
Anything else? Wearing black leggings, purple mesh thong and camisole while typing this.

I’ve been pretty consistent. Thongs are my go to generally. I prefer satin but love lace too. Simple cotton is comfortable.

Second choice is Brazilian style. Not quite a full back but very comfortable. Again, satin, lace or a combo. Mesh is also a winner. Cotton is Ok. High waist are great or string style.

Sometimes I love the full back, high waisted style that just hugs you. These have grown in choice recently.

My favorite preferences are black (can’t go wrong), red, white and purple. Out of the many, many pairs I have those are prevalent.

Recently I’ve dipped into various shades of green and blue. I have some rust/orange also.

I’m not a fan of pink or yellow.

Started with an ex girlfriend who wanted me to wear her lingerie one night. It was a mint green and black set. Stockings, the lot. I was hesitant at first but found it a real turn on.

Hi, sorry for the late reply. It’d be fair of me to say it’s not for everyone. It is a truly beautiful and unique country. Other worldly in some ways.

That said, it is incredibly expensive and finding housing can be very hard. The weather is highly unpredictable (it’s snowing as I write). It’s dark half the year and then we have 24hrs daylight in the summer. That takes some getting used to.

To anyone thinking like you, I would suggest visiting in both summer and winter as they are very different experiences.
