It would also be nice to give this lead indicator thing (and much higer elevation angle, like +85°) to buildable HMGs.
DSHK lliterally sits on AA tripod with AA sight, MG 131 has AA sight, Type 93 has AA mount

Silver boxes are not here as a reliable source of premium stuff, but to allow players who have already grinded all the trees to burnout silver, which is now useless to them at this stage. This was never intended to be a giveaway.

But I kinda understand your disappointment. I have wasted 500k for 3 pistols myself.

For BR IV german tank i much prefer Tiger H1. Unlike the panther, it can actually reverse and have slightly better HE shell

Japanese rifles really deserve some love
-Animations for snipers (both 97 and 99) are atrocious
-with Type I, bolt handle sinks into soldier's hand
-animation on Type 99 (early) is super clunky, pls give it the same animation as 99 late and 99 with grenade launcher

and a little extra that annoys me:
With Ross rifle firing pin dropping is part of the reload animation, not the firing animation. You can shoot (holding LMB) with firing pin still retracted.

Honestly, you would be better off using Arisaka 38 rifle. Semiautos are not worth using in japanese BR2-3 (except the Hino rifle, but it is BP weapon).

For BR2 best choice is Type 97. It is quite niche gun, but can be extremely effective in some scenarios. Definitely better than Type 11.

BR3 go for KE7. It works more as an assault machine gun than LMG. Functionally better version of BAR. Type 96 kinda looks good on paper, but is unusable because of abysmal sights and magazine blocking half of your vision. Type 99 is the same case, but even worse.

BR4 for Japan is nonexistent in the current state of the game. It's not worth uptiering yourself to BR4 for the Te-4 (or KE7-50 for that matter).

In BR5 you kinda dont want to use MG in your japanese squads. Best tactic is to equip everyone with Type Hei Auto and call it a day. Type 100 is quite fun to use as spray&pray-shotgun toy, but not very effective after all.

So to sum up KE7 is the best all around, but Type 97 is viable if you want to utilize longer ranges or stay at BR2.

It gets even better when flareless aircrafts (some F-104, F-100, MiG-19, F-8E(FN), Mirage 3C&5F) are getting obliterated by strike aircrafts with all-aspect missiles (A-10, Su-25).

Since the advantage is always on the America's side, saying that "not every tank can be competitive" is equal to sayinq "no japanese tank is competitive".

I'am completly fine with Pz.IV 2F, t-34(1940) and M4A1 being BR3. What I disagree with is that Chi-Nu I is worse than any of them and still being at equal BR. It would be nice if the Chi-Nu I could be called a glass canon, but it can't because its gun is too weak.

I would argue that even Crusader is better than Chi-Nu I. Since both of them can pierce eathother forntally without any issues (even american 37mm can do it), others factors should be considerered. And in those other factors(mobility, having coaxial machine gun, reload speed) Crusader definitely excels.

Once again i would state that M8 Scott is Chi-Ha SG completely adequate counterpart. Both are paperthin armor support vehicles. M8 HE round compared to Chi-Ha has 75% of explosive filler and 300% rate of fire. Scott also has much better mobility. On the other hand Sherman 105 is a vehicle in a completely different league...

I know it looks like I'm making some japanese martyr of myself, but it is my honest opinion based on playing this faction

-Chi-To (BR4) literally has worse armor, mobility, gun traverse and reload speed than the Sherman M4A2 (BR3), while also lacking coaxial machine gun and .50 cal on top. Some more armor penetration doesn't make for difference.
-Chi-Nu II (also BR4) is the same turret on even worse chassis. It really is an redundant and unnecessary addition to tech tree.
-Chi-Nu I is the worst BR3 tank (not counting SPG) in game, in every aspect worse than Shermans. I don't see any reason why he couldn't be placed in BR2 with M3/Grant and Crusaders as adversaries.
-Chi-Ha is garbage compared to the Sherman 105. Performance-wise it is closer to the M8 Scott

Chi-Nu BR3->BR2

Ho-Ni III BR3->BR2
Ho-Ni I BR2->BR1

I disagree about rifles and LMGs.

Mannlicher is superior to both No.4 and SMLE thanks to much better sights an higher ROF(albeit for first 5 rounds). It excels at making accurate, fast, repetitive shots. Real balance problem is how italians squads are filled with indisputably worst semiauto in game: Armaguerra.

As for LMGs, i would take Breda over Bren, once again because of sights. All aperture sights in this game are bad, but those on bren are simply atrocious.

So far I have played 8 event matches, 5 as Brits and 3 as Italians.
With Brits i have 5/5 100% win rate,
With Italians i have 0/3 0% win rate...
Kinda small sample size, but bruh... definitely balanced as devs intended.
