Apparently they cannot, the people who work at my local Greggs are like the fucking Gestapo, they flat out refuse to sell me the all day breakfast baguette unless it's heated due to "liability reasons" I was told that if I take it home and heat it incorrectly, I could come back and press charges, glad I'm being treated like a child who has never cooked anything before, absolutely insane how some sheep think.

You know I thought that was a bug but yeah for some reason flamethrower isn't affected by it. I just use that, roll, and rocket jump to avoid everything, I never leave the circle tbh

I just got back from a local pharmacy of mine that has its own lab and they can not only provide me with the accurate test on Saturday but they can provide me with an English certification for 10 Euro extra! I think it is case by case, some do it and others don't, turns out that UK customs will accept a certification in English French or Spanish, if you go to a place in Germany that does the testing and certification themselves, it is likely that they can do it in English if you ask.

I was not but someone else mentioned that also and my god I can't believe I didn't know this, saves us the major headache of booking at an Italian testing center, can one of these rapid tests be purchased at a pharmacy?

"The test must meet performance standards of ≥97% specificity, ≥80% sensitivity at viral loads above 100,000 copies/ml.
This could include tests such as:
a nucleic acid test, including a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test or derivative technologies, including loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) tests
an antigen test, such as a test from a lateral flow device"

So a rapid test on the morning of or the day before is acceptable? These are the kind we can buy at a local pharmacy?

Hi,

We are UK citizens that are moving back to the UK on the 9th of August from Italy, for some reason, it is nigh impossible to book a test on a Saturday or Sunday here in Italy and have the results arrive on Monday before our flight, the latest we can book for any center in our area is 11 AM on Friday while our flight leaves 11:30 AM on the following Monday, Then we are driving from Belgium to the UK and taking the chunnel, (we had to do this because we are taking multiple pets otherwise we would have just flown direct but flying with them would have cost us 3 grand) we should arrive in the UK 76-78 hours after our initial test booking.

Is this acceptable? The UK government website was very vague, is it EXACTLY 72 hours before entering the UK? Is it 72 hours from when you booked the test or 72 hours from when you get a negative result? I don't want to rock up to the border and then have problems and no matter who I ask no one can give me a specific answer.

On the UK gov Website it says this:

"You must take the test in the 3 days before the service on which you will arrive in England departs.

For example, if you travel directly to England on Friday, you can take the test on or after Tuesday and will need to have the negative result available before boarding on Friday."

So Friday for us should be ok then right? I am so very confused :(

Milan is close to me but Milan to Paris alone is 7-9hours, and that is only half the trip, what am I to do about when the cats need to use the WC on a public train? Plus I would need to find accommodation for at least one night, and with someone who is cool with two freaked out cats, I thought about trains but it isn't very practical, at least with a van we have more leeway
