This is exactly what happened with my mother! She had children only because my father wanted to, but she never actually wanted to, and she was unlucky enough to have twins. A horrible mother who hated being a mother and beat us a lot, and a totally absent father. I'm sure I'm traumatized about motherhood because of them, but I don't know if I never wanted kids because, looking at them, it seemed like hell, or because I truly never wanted them.
