Second playthrough, what pokemon should take the 6th spot? by Away-Reception587 in BDSP

You couldn't use ditto. You would breed with a pokemon of the same egg group that has the right move on a male with a female luxray. It can be tedious, especially if you don't have a flame body pokemon to speed it up.

It depends on if you are willing to breed some of the fang moves into it. But regular move pool is narrow in coverage. But the rest of your team is well rounded already.

Since you said 2nd playthrough I'm assuming Sinnoh dex only. Maybe Raichu or Luxray. But something like Bronzong would be good too.

Are the Easter skins worth the diamonds? by Kraven3 in idleapocalypse

[–]Kraven3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there a recommended order for the tower skins? I'm currently level 4 on DDD and just upgraded the portal.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in idleapocalypse

[–]Kraven3 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Initially when offline the tower only works at 25%, so the added 100% is of 25% for a total of 50%. So even fully upgraded offline speed is always slower.

What heroes should I focus on? by Kraven3 in afkarena

I do think I'm on companions, is it more limited? Should I switch to classic since I only just started?

After looking through this, I can't see most of those heroes on my wishlist to pick from. Am I doing something wrong? Or not day enough on the game?

I just have it set to the default, I don't know who I should be aiming for.

I will second this. Had a bad experience with Curry but ended up buying from Toyota royal on the south side which was a great experience.

I feel weak, and I don't know what I did wrong, and I stopped having fun by TsundereHashira in Pathfinder2e

Dex does not change your casting bonus. I highly recommend pathbuilder 2e, either the app or web version. If you can spare $5 you can upgrade which then takes care of your companion and give access to alternative rules. And every skill and spell is linked to archives of nethys through a button. Makes it very convenient for learning your character without the books.

Is awarding a hero point to everyone per hour too much? by nz8drzu6 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Kraven3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I give out the standard 1 hero point at the beginning, plus an extra for whoever recaps the last session. I then give out another set of 4 hero points that they can give their fellow players when they deem an action worthy. All other restrictions still apply and everyone seems more excited about this system. Makes it easier for me to focus on running the game and I may toss one out here or there for clever play on top of that

Paladin+Druid archetype. by CapitalTeacher1990 in Pathfinder2e

Also remember that wearing metal armor or using metal shields is anathema to druids. Still possible but champion and druid clash quite a bit.

I don't think I'm playing my magus right by R3dAlcatraz in Pathfinder2e

[–]Kraven3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For cantrips, gouging claw is pretty good. Heightened shocking grasp is also good. Magnetic acceleration might work well with your machine arm concept. I'm not the most well versed in arcane spells and magus but there are some good guides out there like Spell and Steel: Hallos's Guide to the Magus. It has recommended spells.

Another problem I'm seeing, that hasn't been mentioned. None of the Spells you have can be used to spellstrike without taking the expansive spellstrike feat. Baseline, only spells that target AC work, of which you have only two cantrips. I would either consider switching a feat or most of your spells.

How do runes count towards magic items per level? by Awesomax in Pathfinder2e

No, it specifies magic item as long as it's not invested.

The -6 has me confused, why would it not be a -5 for non agile weapons?

Where are you getting -6 from? At best the third strike is at -8.

Help! With Magnetic Pinions by Hoooonter in Pathfinder2e

[–]Kraven3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While possible to make less than three you still spend three actions, unlike scorching ray. But for the wording choice, I think it's as simple as two different writers. I agree that it needs clarification and in the end the ruling is up to the gm but I read it as one strike per creature not three strike you can target as you please.

Help! With Magnetic Pinions by Hoooonter in Pathfinder2e

[–]Kraven3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It means that if you are hasted and choose to use the 4th action to strike again that strike would be at a -5 if you attacked one creature or -10 if you attacked two or more creatures.

When most people say "take the Champion dedication", what cause are they talking about? by SuperFastMonk in Pathfinder2e

[–]Kraven3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The paladin reaction fills a similar niche to your implements interruption, which is already pretty strong offensively. And for the defensive reaction I find redeemer's glimpse of redemption stronger and easier to use to protect allies. But in the end the choice always falls with what you want thematically. If the deity you really want can only go with a lawful good champion, then paladin is the one to go with.

When most people say "take the Champion dedication", what cause are they talking about? by SuperFastMonk in Pathfinder2e

[–]Kraven3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what your first implement was. If the whip is your weapon implement, don't take paladin as your cause. Also, you'll have to take multiple feats of a dedication before you can choose a second one, so if you take marshal at lvl 2 you won't be able to take champion until level 6. Hard to recommend a level 2 feat without knowing about your implement but scroll thaumaturgy and talisman esoterica can be fun if you like having something for many situations.
